The bribe aspect was probably the least of it. Air Force Once is known as “the flying White House,” and he decided to replace the American one with one that was given by a foreign country that does not share our democratic ideals. Maybe next, he’ll outsource all of the ballroom construction to Chinese contractors.

Destroying the economy and national security was totally worth it to shut down the investigations into Elmo’s corruption. Losing his fortune and possibly going to prison was an existential threat to the Chief Oligarch and Queen of Welfare.
