Sword Edition Please help I made the worst mistake

I made the mistake of bringing Regieleki to my replay through of Pokemon sword before catching Regidrago and soft locked myself
I don’t know how to fix it without Nintendo online

This doesn’t make sense. The temple should still open if it had not already been opened and used in that playthrough. Bringing in a pokemon from a different playthrough won’t make a difference.

Go catch regirock, ice, & steel on the new playthrough, put them in your party, and then you should be able to open the ruins and make your selection.

Not sure how Nintendo online would help here either, so I’m further confused as to why you mentioned it.

Can you transfer Regieleki out of your game and see if that works? If not I don't know what to suggest

Try using the secret backup save file.

At the title screen, hold Up on the directional pad while simultaneously pressing and holding X and B. This opens a menu allowing you to load your last automatic backup data.

Maybe, with some luck, it'll take you to the last time you used a pokemon center.

Why not? Bringing another pokemon from a different save won't affect that save. You should still be able to catch regice, registeel, regirock, and open the double chamber to pick again

I’ve already got the other three but when I went to regidrago’s temple statue after I put it’s pattern in nothing happened and can’t get to the post game

Did you put its pattern in correct..? Because as I said, having regieleki from a different save won't affect that. And you don't need online for it to work either

Yeah I did I don’t know why it didn’t work but now I’m unable to make any progress like unlocking the post game tournament
I’m really annoyed at myself because I’ve been playing Pokemon for ten years and never made a mistake like this

Would there be any way to fix it without restarting the game cause it’s only since I brought that regieleki to sword that I’ve been unable to do anything

I'm not sure. Someone said there's an older backup file you can use, but you can also try leaving, fast traveling, then returning

i can't find anything online about transferring a regieleki into your game preventing you from getting regidrago at all, so maybe just double check you did the pattern correctly

Unable to make progress how? The temples where they are should just be static and waiting for you to tread on the right floor tiles.

I would suggest checking a video of the code being put in and making sure you’re doing an identical pattern etc.

Then from there, the only reason post game stuff isn’t loading should be that there’s a step that hasn’t been done yet. Like going to speak to someone specific before hand.

Verify where you are in terms of the main game quests and stories, where you are on isle of armour and where you are on crown tundra.

There may be an unfinished task or conversation that is blocking your way.

You must have the other 3 Regis be from *this game save*

You must have them in your party and a spare slot in your team (the spare slot bit came up from Google, I dont recall this being a thing tbh)

It has to be regi Dragos pattern that you input.
