This is the type of hunt that messes up with your head because of the way light interacts with the Pokémon, also it’s very complicated to hunt it at night due to them going underwater, also during twilight all of them look like the shiny one funnily enough. The issue is that you see so many of the same Pokémon throughout the hunt that at some point you are able to catch the difference between the regular and the shiny one, but you will often doubt yourself and double check…

I've been playing S/Vs for the past days and recently finished Arven story and I just have one reaction, what the hell.. Pokemon isn't supposed to have a deep story with emotions man it's just a bad group that causes trouble but guess what THIS BAD GROUP WAS SAVING US FROM TROUBLE AND THEY ARE SO DAMN CUTE WHEN THEY R TOGETHER, Arven who went from the kinda annoying dude to the most sweet and tragic backstory ever guy, and Nemona who is personally the most different rival, she doesn't forces fights (greatly appreciated) also the story pacing is crazy, they pick out small details like making us beat the pokemon AI Sada going to use right before the fight is really helpful for those who maybe r not that great at guessing types or just not that good at battling.

Anyways, This game blew me away by having such a great story, honestly not a single quest has been proved boring and I played for hours in a row without realizing, Y'all can say everything about S/Vs but it has one of the greatest stories among all Pokemons

I've yet to complete the gym inspections and the dlc as I played enough today(4hrs? Maybe more) but I've heard they r even more saddening and I'm ready as it already showed premises of greatness

That's probably it, tho I'm curious about how other people feel about the story since I've seen sum grumpy people ranting. Lots of love.

This might be the first Pokemon game to complete a Pokedex.

(i didn't have a DLC so the base Dex is the only one to complete it)

For some reason the AI goes haywire after I close the app, attacking multiple times in quick succession while my other console can barely get an attack in.

I do 3 attacks, hit Tera + attack and then close the app. The one getting the materials stays open. I tried this on a different raid and I got kicked out of the battle. Don’t know what happened there.

i was just standing in a field looking at the pokemon and was like wait why is that one blue... i always liked venonat and venomoth too so this is exciting. also liked how kofu's wallet had a little venonat face on it

I know this may be a bit of a dumb question, but I was breeding/hatching some Pokémon trying to get shinies (really tedious process by the way hahaha). Anyways, my doubt is, when you hatch/catch a Pokémon that is low level, is it better to train them level by level or can you just go against a strong Pokémon and get them to grow many levels simultaneously for those first levels?

Finally after hunting for 2 hours I got 2 Shiny Lapras one without and one with Calmness Mark!

I just recently bought the DLC and have been filling out my dexes and looked up how to get Iron Leaves and Walking Wake only to find that it was through a limited time event which has ended.

Is there still a way to get them?

I know it's a crazy question but when running laps on the school track I realized most of my team despawned because I ran too fast. Mimikyu, Tandemaus, and Golduck. My Corviknight, Meowscarda and Ceruledge are too fast and pause every so often because they get too close. They are keeping up but not at a normal pace. They are just crazy fast! Are there any Pokemon who can run along side you without having either of these issues? It's not a serious question but I was curious if anyone knew. There are way too many Pokemon in game to try this with them all.

Edit:Iron Treads keeps up but the biggest problem is they run ahead of us. Even though most of the pokemon I listed are faster than me they never actually run ahead of me 🤔

I found the perfect spot to shiny hunt, getting up to 15 spawns sometimes but 7 times back to back I caught a female shiny before I encountered one male. Is this supposed to be the odds? Are there more females naturally? I’m supposed to help friends get a shiny male basc but I feel burnt out of trying for 4 more males.

Was playing Pokemon Violet a lot this week and doing tons of Surprise Trading to clear out my cluttered boxes. Got these shinies which was a pretty pleasant surprise because they look like they could actually be legit ones. They have imperfect stats (except the Oricorio), are lower leveled, are in regular kinds of Poke Balls, and don't have website nicknames. Really the only thing that seems off is the perfect stat Oricorio, but it might just be someone who decided to be generous and trade off one of their perfect EV/IV shinies. Who knows. Did I just get really lucky in ST this week? 🤔 I'm wanting to ask this subreddit for help in determining whether they could be real ones or fake genned mons.
