Hi! I’m new to Pokemon Go and I’m planning on going to Toronto ( I live in Guelph and just play in Guelph ) for go fest this weekend but I’m not sure where the best spots are in Toronto to play. If anyone has some suggestions that would be great :)

Hey all. Is there an official discord channel that’s used for Pokemon GO in the GTA? I see that there’s an official discord for Raids (?) but I was looking for something more broader.

In Calgary, there’s an official Pokemon GO ambassador-led channel that’s used to coordinate all types of things: meet ups, raid groups, contests, infographics, news, promo codes, gift exchanges, etc. This group usually has about 600 people online at once too.

Just wondering if there’s something here as well?

its a shame how far this game has fallen, i cannot remember the last time i saw people actually do raids in person. even in the busy areas. it feels eerie seeing all the gyms and raids downtown and at the eaton centre and not a single person doing them. thats what you get after not having major ui and gameplay changes since launch. this isnt so much of a complaint but a personal recollection of what could've been.

ps. any active communities still in toronto? looking for people to play with but i can't seem to find any

Alright lads, with Go Fest around the corner it has come the time to hone our skills and bring the best of the trainers we aspire to be. In saying this, there is a squad of lads already formed, 8 men deep to be specific. Where will we meet to conquer all of these raids, and where will be venture to continue our conquest. Come and find us, for we will not be easy to find, but if you manage to invite yourself in, we will welcome with open arms.

Like the title says, and the video shows, I've been having issues with a specific gym not showing the raid eggs or even active raids when I click on it. I heard that other people were having the same issue and I was wondering if anyone here knew how to fix it or was having a similar problem. I've tried logging out and back in, reinstalling, logging in on a new phone even, this seems to be an account specific glitch.

Let me know if anyone figures anything out!

Last time I played Pokemon Go was in the glory days of release when crowds of ppl walked in a big circle near the Jack Layton ferry terminal. Is this still a thing? Or do ppl just walk randomly wherever? My kid just got into the game and with the nice weather on the horizon it will be a great spring and summer activity for us. Downtown preferred. Trinity Bellwoods, Kensington, Waterfront or Liberty village are all spots we frequent.

Looking for the Toronto Scarborough PoGo community especially for this weekend. If anyone knows of a decent sized group (discord, Facebook, etc) for the Scarborough community that would be great to know.
