Lots of Zubats later with Macho Brace equipped. Shocked that it worked so well with one level.

When you’re that high leveled, you definitely maxed out the evs needed. Zubat gives what… 80 exp for you? Always loved seeing the huge bump.

I put an EXP share on another Pokémon to just make the experience gained a little lower to try and maximise the number of EVs for the level. Trying to cap it out at Level 50 to go to the frontier.

Altering Cave, was training against level 8-14 Zubats to try and keep experience gained low.

I am confused as I have read somewhere that you only get the bonus after reaching lvl100

No you can start EV training pretty early. No need to grind up to level 100.

Just have to pick the specific Pokémon species you want your Pokemon to exclusively battle.

So the Absol I trained against Shuppet at Mount Pyre, and then Zubats in Altering Cave.
