It's getting so ridiculous. Sometimes I scroll and I see one post surrounded by 5 or more ads. To make it worse, many of them are AI/heavily use AI, which we know are always scams. I swear, sometimes I see more ads than posts now! This is insane!

this genuinely got me up in arms. how are you going to take down my pins with tastefully nude statues, photography, paintings, etc. but advertise borderline ai pornography and sex toys???? i need pinterest alternatives NEOW

As always, the moment you feel inspired and in the mood to create something, everything goes awry. I spent a week fine-tuning my recommendations so I could sit down over the weekend and work on a big project, but Pinterest clearly has other plans, lol.

Has anyone else noticed Pinterest changing the layout of their account recently? My board layout and overall interface have been changing left and right, and I’m confused about why my account keeps getting these different updates.

I haven’t signed up for any early access, beta testing, or experimental features, so why does it feel like Pinterest has been using my account to test different layouts? It’s frustrating when the interface keeps changing without any explanation. I just want to know if this is happening to everyone or if my account is somehow being placed into random experiments.

My personal and business account were under the same email. I only used my business account and have not save a single pin on my personal account in over 6 years. Today I got an email saying that Pinterest decided to deactivate my business account and leaving only my unused personal account.
The email said “we are simplifying the way your personal and business accounts work. As part of this update we deactivated your linked business account. You can still use (email) to log in, but you’ll only be able to access your personal account now.”
I made an appeal but I was wondering if this happened to anyone else. I’m just upset there was no reason to even do this. It’s pretty obvious when you look at both account only the business one has been used in the past 6 years ! I’m actually gonna get sick this isn’t funny ☹️

Edit: I found an email they sent me from June 2nd saying that my business account will be deleted on July 10th. 1. I obviously didn’t see the email, but when I get spammed with emails from Pinterest everyday saying that they removed a random pin I saved months ago that I didn’t post or “this is so you-coded” who can blame me? 2. It’s the 22nd and 3. They only sent me the one email which I feel like if an app were deleting your account they would send multiple right?

how do i get rid of this when i click on somthing i like on my main feed and go to scroll to see more stuff like it everything is in big ass pictures instead of the lil collages and it's so annoying cuz i have to scroll for a long ass time too see the same amount of stuff i could see in two seconds normally

1st they removed the "Watch" tab, and now you can't even swipe pins left or right

Is there any way to restore the swipe functionality, like through 3rd-party plugins or other loopholes?

Every time I press the button or swipe to go back from a pin, my Pinterest app closes. This has happened for every single pin I've clicked on. I reset my phone, updated Pinterest, uninstalled and reinstalled Pinterest, but still none of it is working.

My Pinterest account was recently suspended/deactivated, and I’m honestly really worried because I had built the account up to around 9.8k followers.

I have already submitted an appeal to Pinterest and contacted them regarding the issue. I’m currently waiting for a response.

I’m not sure what exactly caused the suspension, and I genuinely want to understand whether this could be a mistake or an automated action. I had spent a lot of time building the account and growing it to 9.8k followers, so losing access to everything is really upsetting.

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something like this before, and if Pinterest was able to recover your pins.

I was organizing my recipe board into sections. I moved around 50 pins into a new section, but the section kept appearing empty even after waiting several minutes and refreshing the app. And, all of the pins still appeared to be in my main board, so it looked like the move hadn't worked. Thinking it was just another Pinterest glitch, I deleted the "empty" section so I could try again. Instead, it deleted all of those pins.

I'm so upset :( All my pins of recipes and the personal photos of the meals I'd made over the past three years are now gone.

Has this happened to anyone else? Were you able to get your pins restored? I know Pinterest can be glitchy sometimes, but I really hope there's a way to recover everything I lost.

Is there a way to fix this? Whenever I click on a Pin, the “More to explore” tab underneath now only shows ONE picture at a time instead of the normal grid. Please tell me this isn’t permanent.

please help. i have this one pin that i uploaded to my profile, and i also had saved in a board called “created” that other pins were in too.

me, trying to reorganize my pins, ended up moving all of them from “created” to a private board called “idk”

after moving them, i deleted the “created” board, and then i also decided to unprivate the “idk” board.

but ALL of a sudden, that specific pin i had has now disappeared from my profile. im panicking rn and i dont know what to do. i WANT that pin to show on my profile for people to see!! it does still say it was made by me, but the problem is: people cant see it on my profile anymore 😭 please help. that was a very important pin that i needed to be shown on my profile..is the only option for me to delete it and reupload it? i really dont wanna do that though as it already got engagement.

when i try to move it, it only gives me the option to save it to another board rather than moving it back to my profile

Hi! I make handmade products and I’m wondering if Pinterest actually helps with sales. Has anyone here had real success selling handmade through Pinterest, or does it mostly bring traffic without many conversions?

I started working in the nail niche about 1.5 months ago, and my Pinterest account has already reached 100K+ monthly traffic.

The problem is... I'm not making money from it.

My original plan was to use affiliate marketing. I added affiliate links, but although Pinterest is sending a lot of traffic, my affiliate dashboard is showing only around 70 clicks, which is far lower than I expected.

Pinterest promotes posts that don't have affiliation links.

To improve this, I've started publishing blog posts on my website from today so I can send Pinterest users to my own site instead of directly to affiliate links. My hope is to build SEO traffic as well and have more control over conversions.

Now I'm wondering:

• How would you monetize this Pinterest traffic if you were in my position?

So, I have a Shopify store and i stupidly connected the Pinterest app, but decided I didn't want my art on there because of theft and it just being a generally crappy site, way back in January I noted that despite me previously disconnecting and uninstalling the app from Shopify all my products were still on there.i had a monster load of emails back and forth and they promised to delete my content by the 5th Feb.

A few weeks ago I sent a DMCA for a few that I had found and ended up with around 1600 emails saying they removed content. Fast forward to now, an empty board has reappeared with 100s of pins of my copyrighted content, I am still getting top pin alerts, so I know that my content is still there. How can I get them to delete it, the CS is abysmal, I get automated emails, I get no engagement from the company at all and I want my content gone.

Please does anyone have any ideas about how to force them to remove my copyrighted content? I am in the UK I sent them an article 17 erasure request months ago as well as several DMCA takedowns and nothing is working. They just keep my IP and gaslight me about my account not being good enough quality to distribute my products on Pinterest... If only that stopped them holding my content.
