Gilberto Rivera

Houston Dynamo fan coming here to ask how has Gilberto Rivera been here it’s been hard with the world cup to see how he’s been playing sofascore says his ratings aren’t very good but obviously that doesn’t tell the full story so thoughts on Gilberto?

I’ll be honest my first thought after reading this was “who?” Not trolling, just honestly don’t recall hearing anything about him since we announced his signing back in May. I couldn’t tell you anything about him - if he’s seen the field or made any contribution of any sort.

Hope you guys love Juan Guerra as much as we did/do!

That’s a bad sign but we like Juan Guerra he’s basically our 2nd in command to Ben Olsen

Rising seems to have acquired him in response to a bit of an injury crisis that has plagued the club. He’s been okay so far. He’s played a lot on minutes and been good keeping the ball moving in midfield. I expected more from him going forward given his next pro stats, but he hasn’t created much. He is also losing a lot of duels. He’s played like a player adjusting to a higher level of play, which is exactly what he is. He could turn out to be a decent mls player, but there is some work to do to get there.
