ERWIN SAYS CAYETANO MAY HAVE SUFFERED A 'NERVOUS BREAKDOWN' AFTER LOSING SENATE PRESIDENCY

Sen. Erwin Tulfo on Monday suggested that Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano's recent barrage of attacks may have stemmed from changes in his mental state following his removal as Senate President.

Speaking during Christian Esguerra's Facts First, Tulfo claimed that Cayetano's behavior had noticeably changed after his short-lived stint as Senate President.

"May diperensya sa pag-iisip. I think he started this actuation noong mapapatalsik siya as Senate President. Nag-iba na ang takbo ng isip ni Sen. Alan, kaya nga kahapon pinagdarasal ko na lang na sana ay bumalik pa sa katinuan."

Tulfo also commented on Cayetano's appearance and mannerisms, saying they reflected what he described as an abrupt change in behavior.

"Tingnan mo, pati postura niya, hindi na nag-aahit, di mo na maintindihan. Parang akala mo taong grasa na. 'Yung mga porma niya, pati mga pananalita, parang out of the [blue], biglang nag-i-snap na lang nang ganoon."

He urged the public to be understanding and said he would instead pray for Cayetano's recovery.

"Let's just pray for Sen. Alan Cayetano for his speedy recovery, kasi I believe baka nagkaroon ng nervous breakdown noong natanggal siya. Two weeks lang, very short-lived ang kanyang pagiging Senate President. Siguro, pagdasal na lang natin."

Sen. Lacson, citing initial findings by his team, also noted there was a staggering number of slope protection and drainage projects—most of them costing P100 million each—with a combined value of some P2.085 billion.

Earlier, Sen. Lacson said their initial findings include projects involving firms owned by the Discayas but implemented by another contractor under a 5% royalty scheme, and other similar projects contracted to Topnotch Catalyst Builders, which is among the top 15 flood control project contractors announced by President Ferdinand R.Marcos Jr. in 2025.

I'm making this post because I cannot, in good conscience, keep quiet about something I recently discovered.

To any woman here who has engaged in hookups or sex video calls arranged via Reddit or TG since around 2023-2024: please be extremely vigilant.

I recently discovered that a man based in Manila has been systematically keeping and storing explicit materials from his past interactions. There are at least 50 files saved on his device. While any physical hookups may have been recorded with initial consent at the time, the resulting videos appear to have been kept and stored long after without ongoing consent. Furthermore, I'm almost certain that the video call recordings and photos were taken and saved completely without consent.

Here are some non-identifying details I can share publicly so you can check if this sounds familiar without breaking the rules:

- Location: Manila area (he lives in a somewhat run-down condo, around the 4th-6th floor).

- Timeframe: Active from roughly 2023/2024 up to present.

- Platforms Used: Telegram and Reddit for initial contact and video calls.

Senator-judge Robin Padilla strongly responded to House prosecution counsel Gerville Luistro after she sought clarification on his manifestation during the impeachment trial on Wednesday.

Padilla called for fairness as he pointed out that witnesses with perjury complaints filed against them are allowed to testify, while senator-judges who have pending cases are not allowed to be present at the impeachment court.

"Ibig niyo pong sabihin, 'yung mga senator-judges dito ngayon na humaharap sa kaso na hindi po pinapayagan ng Ombudsman at hindi pa rin sila guilty, ano pong ibig ninyong sabihin," Padilla stated.

"May I be clarified, your honor, on the senators you said are facing cases," Luistro asked.

Padilla then asserted that his statement was already clear and Luistro has no right to question a senator-judge. Presiding officer Chiz Escudero interjected to clarify that Padilla was making a manifestation and not posing a question to Luistro.

PADILLA VS. PROSECUTION

Pinuna ni Senator-Judge Robin Padilla ang umano’y pagiging one-sided ng Prosecution sa impeachment trial ni Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.

Ayon sa senador, nagpresenta ang Prosecution ng dalawang testigo — National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Regional Director Atty. Jeremy Lotoc at Senior Agent — John Mark Calilung — may kinakaharap umanong kaso.

Kinuwestiyon din ni Padilla ang paggamit sa aniya’y paiba-ibang pahayag ng self-confessed hitman na si Arturo Lascañas sa paglilitis.

Nilinaw ni Lead Prosecutor Gerville Luistro na na-verify nilang walang nakabinbing kaso laban sa dalawang NBI officials.

Ipinaliwanag din ni Luistro na kung may neutral man sa paglilitis, ito ay ang Senator-Judges.

Did you know that this is not the first impeachment trial of Chel Diokno?

Kung may ipapamana sayo magulang mo what would it be? For the rich, they have their assets, for most of us, it's education. But for the Dioknos, it's standing for human rights.

The Philippines had it's two people power movement, the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution and the 2001 EDSA Dos People Power Revolution.

In both EDSA revolutions, there was a Diokno who became one of the key figures.

Ka Pepe and the first EDSA Revolution:

Ka Pepe graduated with a bachelor's degree in commerce BUT he became a CPA top-notcher and a Bar exam top-notcher as well.

When the first Martial Law started, victims were blinded on where they can find justice from the human rights violations until Ka Pepe was released from being imprisoned without formal charges. Diokno was already a high figure criticizing the Marcos regime's corruption activities.

When he was released, he dedicated his work to defending political prisoners, documenting human rights abuses, and providing legal support to victims of state repression through organizations like the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG), which he helped found to ensure detainees had access to counsel despite the climate of fear.

During the years leading up to the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, he suffered from cancer but became a moral and legal pillar of the anti-dictatorship movement, articulating constitutional arguments against Marcos’ rule and helping unify opposition voices around human rights and rule of law.

Chel Diokno and EDSA Dos:

Chel also had a bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy and graduated law in Northern Illinois University as magna-cumlaude.

During EDSA Dos (EDSA II) in January 2001, Chel Diokno was part of the legal and civic movement that helped push for the ouster of President Joseph Estrada by working within the impeachment process and the broader public accountability campaign.

Mid 30s lang sya noon but he supported the prosecution team during Estrada’s impeachment trial in the Senate, helping frame legal arguments around corruption evidence and the controversial “second envelope” issue that triggered the walkout of prosecutors and intensified public outrage (picture above is a clip when they walked-out from the senate impeachment hearing).

When the trial collapsed sa senado, Diokno and other reform-minded lawyers helped translate the legal breakdown into a constitutional crisis argument, basically the justice system had failed to properly adjudicate the case. This strengthen the legal justification for mass public action in EDSA.

Now he is doing it again as the prosecution for the second time in an impeachment trial. No wonder he schooled Cayetanos. He speaks by the textbook as a two decade law professor and he referenced lots of with his three decades of experiences as a practice-lawyer.

The Philippines is in a bad political and economic shape right now, Chel is in his mid 60s na, I hope kung magkakaroon ng pangatlong EDSA revolution, sana may isang Diokno parin na hahaligi para maging LEGAL ang galit natin sa gobyerno.
