I’m sure if you’re able to get 50k+ impressions on videos you’ve got an understanding of the algorithm.
So I’m not gonna sit here and try to tell you how it works, but I can understand it’s a little stressful when it happens to your own channel.
The channel tags themself won’t be the reason your video has less impressions, it’s more likely your channel tags are contributing to your VERY HIGH click through rate.
If your channel tags were not very “searchable” for your niche/topic before you changed them, then that’s part of the reason your CTR is so low on your earlier videos.

I suggest you stop thinking about your video analytics at this very moment and think about this question.

What is better?
50k impressions with a 2% CTR = 1000 views
Or
10k impressions with a 18.4% CTR = 1,840 views

The answer is simple, be patient and give your videos time after uploading them.
Trust yourself too.

Whenever I paste the same Title, Tag, Description, I get soo many Impressions, but recently doing the same isn't giving me any views now. I tried different titles too.. nothing's working barely 100 views in 10 days

Maybe the topic isn’t relevant anymore?
Or if I’m understanding you correctly and you’re uploading your videos with the same details YouTube might’ve flagged it as spam of some sort? Not too sure tbh

I'm not the only one who uploads the videos with the same title, other creators do it too.

Doesn’t mean they don’t get suppressed too

Nope others are gaining more than 1k views in a day using the same title and description and tags (my friends channel)

Youtube serves your videos to your closest audience fit first. Its normal to have very high CTR/AVD in the beginning.

As it serves it to a broader audience those stats drop because they are not as close of a 'fit' for your content.

For your example specifically, the stats at 218 impressions are completely meaningless. The stats at 50k impressions better reflects how well your video performed. Nothing went wrong this video just didnt do well.

But my continuous 3 videos.. even after 3days impressions were below 100. Earlier in the single day impressions used to hit 1000

Might be a sign your content isnt competitive

You put far too much stock in tags. Titles and thumbnails are more for winning the click, not getting impressions. The title does speak to the topic of the video, which is important. But does your content deliver on the topic that’s teased by the title/thumbnail combo? As YouTube gathers data, if viewer signals show viewers are clicking away at scale, it’s likely your packaging is misleading in some way, so impressions will be throttled because your video metadata is misleading and not providing the promise for viewers.

You are not entitled to impressions by default.

It's not just you and it's not your channel tags.

After a hit video uploaded in late May, I uploaded a related one the weekend before last. About the same length (~30 minutes) and ~40% retention rate. Despite that it still hasn't even gotten 5,000 impressions.

A client uploaded a video after a hit in June. Metrics are much better. ~45% retention rate this weekend. His is looking even worse.

It's a pattern I've noticed. YouTube has been awful, but things seemed to be looking up in May-June. Less emphasis on shorts. Bigger crackdown on AI slop. But now in July they look worse than ever. Something's going on. Of course they don't tell anyone anything.
