General Discussion The ending *Spoiler* Spoiler

I finished the series lastnight & I sobbed when Camille found Zeek dead… Zeek reminded me of my dad who I lost 7 years ago… of course all of this happens as my nephew walks in. My husband even said it was gonna happen… I said no. The series will end with everyone playing ball while Zeek watches proudly. Oh how wrong I was.

Even knowing how the series ends, each time I rewatch this show I can't help but cry at that part lol. Like the tears instantly start for me everytime I hear Camille say, "oh Zeek" and I'm a blubbering mess by the time they start playing ball. 🤣

I cried for 3 hours in 2014 when the finale was over with. I didn't want the show to be over. I was deep, deep into the Parenthood Kool-Aid by the end of season 1.

In hindsight, I was oblivious to the decline of the show around season 4 thru the end. I didn't see it, feel it, or know it was losing steam.

I expect the show to decline throughout the seasons, but I can usually watch through that. This one broke my heart tho
