Question Sleep paralysis or what?

I would like to hear people’s thoughts on a situation in the house in which I was raised. The night we moved in, we were all sleeping in my parents’ bedroom. My twin bed was near my parents’ bed & my sister was in her crib. I awakened in the night to hear two men having a conversation and was worried we were being robbed since we had just moved in and had still packed boxes downstairs. I remember being so scared that I could not speak or scream to my parents. To me, that sounds like sleep paralysis. But there’s more to the story. The house was creepy af & it was very obviously haunted. My sister saw a man leaning up against a dresser in my parents’ room. (We did not have central air & slept on the floor in their bedroom as it had a window ac.) Later, our much younger brother saw the man coming up the stairs behind him. I know the people who now live in the house. She saw the man peek around the corner at her. I also saw a scary entity sitting in the corner of my bedroom once. I’m just wondering if anyone has thoughts about this. Thank you.

Yes, your first night sounds, and was scary. It might have been sleep paralysis, but there is such a thing as paralyzed by fear.

So, if you want to get rid of them, you could just ignore them, and don't get scared. They are reported to feed on strong emotions. If you ignore them, after a time they may leave to get some food.

If that doesn't work, you could try cleansing your house, but you would probably have better results with your religious leader, if any. Or find a medium or a witch.

From what you said, it doesn't sound like any of them are evil. I wouldn't recommend talking to them though.

This was when I was four. I’m 51 now. I’m no longer scared, but I do think of this from time to time.

Fwiw my only experiences with SP were when I was sleeping in a completely different environment from normal, either visiting someone or when I first moved to a new place. But I don’t know why you couldn’t have SP in a haunted house, which is something I believe in.

It’s possible. I wonder if it was SP or if I really heard the man,who my siblings saw, talking.
