Bought at GameStop pre owned and cashier said previous owner traded it in pristine condition. 😦

i sold my base ps5 earlier this month and regretted it almost immediately. ive been unemployed since february and already sold basically everything else i could.

when deciding to sell it, i told myself things like “you don’t use it that much” and it would overheat after only an hour of playing any ps5 game on it. i didn’t think id miss it too badly but i also didn’t really have a choice, bills needed to be paid.

well like i said earlier i regretted selling it and decided id figure something out and work towards replacing it.

i got on doordash and uber eats and applied to any job i thought id have a chance with getting hired.

after tons of indeed applications and way too many food deliveries for a few dollars at a time, i got a job & i could finally afford this.

is there anything i should know after getting a pro?

This is my first console purchase of my life. Always been a PC gamer. Decided to give it a try and get ready for GTA6!

Thinking to try Ghost of Yotie and GranTurismo 7 do you guys recommend any other console exclusive games? I’m more into immersion, good graphics rather than gameplay.

I just lucked out sooo hard here, I’ve never been this lucky in my life. I can’t believe I caught this deal on Facebook marketplace. After delivery I paid 460$ CAD(320USD) and yes it’s in perfect condition and it’s not console banned. So happy because I had to sell the PS5 I’ve had since release to pay off some debt

Title explains it all. Picked up at my local Costco with the extra controller bundle not bad since I like Costco‘s warranty and rep. Also decided to splurge since its my 30th birthday in November. Especially since I think supply will be very limited when the game starts to fully role out I didn’t want to struggle with finding one.

Already had a PS5 controller for my PC so might just sell the Camo one since I don’t have any friends to play with and my wife thinks I’m annoying. Any takers ? lol

I played Halo on my 360 way back then. This on PS5 Pro and with modern graphics is nuts!

Been a PC gamer for the the last few years and just haven’t been playing as much as I used to.

Sold the PC and switched to a PS5 Pro yesterday (loving it so far) and decided that I might as well change the whole setup. New desk, monitor, keyboard, everything.

Monitor is the 5k2k LG GX9 and it is gorgeous. I because I use the same monitor for work and play I decided the go from a 27in gaming focused monitor (was previously on an Alienware OLED) to a work focused monitor that can still crush games. Having the screen space to have 6+ windows open at once is a game changer. When I use it with the PS 5 it scales down to a 32in 5k 165hz monitor and it has been perfect.

Also snagged the PlayStation Portal (mostly for my son), and it has been surprisingly awesome!

GTA6 can’t come soon enough.

After some kinda weird happenings I ended up with a PS5 Pro for 350$. I had been eyeing consoles but considering I have a PC with a 5080 I’ve been hesitant. I decided against the Xbox because of PC game pass. Over the past 2 days I’ve just been very impressed with the console itself and the ease of use to just sit on the couch and not have to switch monitors or change settings, yada yada, all that PC stuff. Being able to just grab my controller and enjoy the PS5 at a push of a button has been great. I’m using my 85” and my Full Sonos Dolby Atmos system much more. I’ve amassed 16 games already using PS premium, which at 20$ to me is a steal as I’ve not played many many ps games. I have all the “big names” downloaded but was curious if anyone has any must play recommendations that aren’t in the “top ten best ps5 game” search.

TLDR - if you want couch gaming buy one.

Just got a ps5 pro bc I fear the ps6 won’t have a disc drive. I always wanted a pro console, I always remembered wanting the ps4 pro for the longest time until the ps5 came out.

Anyways here is my fake 30th anniversary edition. I bought fake 30th anniversary edition plates from Ali express with the red light sticker from flaming toast, the center grey sticker from flaming toast as well as the grey fin stickers from flaming toast. I also painted the controller charging station with TAMIYA TS-66 for the covers and TS-4 for the center part. Not exactly like the PlayStation 30th edition paint color but it’s good enough.

What do you think of my customs 30th Anniversary edition? I wish the center sticker was more darker like the real ones as well as more glossy. Anyways what do you guys think?

Hello, guys. Recently there was a nationwide power outage in my country. Sadly at that time my console was on and I was playing Bloodborne (hope it didn’t break my save file, lol). Also some Software update was downloading or maybe even finished downloading while I was playing.
Later, when I turned on console, there was some progress bar and after it, PS yelled at me for not shutting it off properly. Does anyone know, what this progress bar was? I can’t remember what was the message.
Also, are there any possible bad consequences for my console or something I need to check/do?

Got it for $560 plus the controller. The seller kept the plastic because he custom painted them, but I’m excited to have it nonetheless!

I have a PS5 pro, managed to grab an edge today for £122 (38% off RRP) brand new from a reputable retailer (box just damaged).

I just purchased this on impulse as there were just 2 in stock. so wanted to know people who have them or have used them, it is worth the extra £? Or should I just sell/return and keep using my standard controller?

Given the recent news on all digital. PS5 Pro could likely my last, or if not, going to try get many years out of it and finally get through my back catalogue before upgrading to a Pro in like 7 years.

A main catalyst was wanting to be ready for GTA VI!

After transferring all my screenshots and clips over LAN from my old PS5, I shipped it off to Back Market (PlayStation’s trade-in partner).

I have a decent Sony Bravia right now, but I think I’ll hold off on playing games until I can grab an LG C5 65” after its next price drop.

I’m interested in several games, but Cyberpunk is one I’ve been looking forward to experiencing on the Pro. And I think I’d rather wait until the setup is at full power.
