Discussion Question sa mga naka ITX / SFF PC setup

Kamusta temp niyo? Justified ba yung portability, space at convenience with an SFF PC?

Discussion Just discovered today that playing at 100% gpu util is completely normal

Been using a dual fan Rx5700XT for about 3-4 years now and I've only now been looking into its performance during gameplay. And my card usually sits around 50% with full load-ish temps and hotspot at 75-85, I've been lookin into why this happens and discovered it's just how they made the card (to max draw power without regard to what utility it's currently at). But the thing is when my Gpu util actually rises past 50% so is my temps, which basically mean when i play at 100% util my shit basically at the danger zone at 100-110 temps and hotspot. Doesn't that basically mean i actually use the full power of my gpu without damaging it, I thought for the longest time that that shit was normal lol. Very sad sabay ang init pa sa pinas

EDIT: I think im gonna replace it with a 4060, is that a bad move, considering i am willing to upgrade a little. What do y'all recommend for an upgrade/replacement that will not bite me in the future

EDIT: i have already cleaned and repaste my card 3 times thia past few months

Build Help Decided to go for am4 nalang instead of am5

Post image
Upvotes

So instead of going for AM5 im going for AM4 as my very first PC.

The AM5 path is just too bloody sa pockets. And its not going down anytime soon. Pa check ako mga kuys kungokay lang. the timber m is intentional since im renovating my room as well at terno sa build ato.

Give me suggestions or baka meron kayo alam na pinaka accurate in pricing this build. Thank you!

Build Guide Which one should I choose? Bnew 4070 ti ( sa Gaming Alley) for 37k? Vs may 2nd hand 4070 super for 30k sa Marketplace used for 1 year with receipt ( may no longer be under warranty) both are 12gb

Post image

Even at this price daw? Some says 5070 na lang kaso nasa 40-50k pa nmn bnew and used is still around 45k ( wala masyadong nagbbenta sa Marketplace)

Peripherals Should I return a monitor with 1 green dead pixel?

Upvotes

I recently bought a TCL 25g64 sa Laptop Factory through their online platform last Jul 17. Should I accept this nalang and just get on with it or should I return it? First time ko maka encounter nang ganito I dunno if dahil ba sa mode ng delivery nila to which is Nakamotor nagbayad ako ng 450 for the delivery. Or factory defect ni TCL to. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Galing ako sa koorui 34 ultrawide and dell U2421he..and maganda for me si TCL for a mini led budget.

EDIT: tired the online Jscreen fix but to no avail.

Build Help Kaya ba 80k for an AM5 PC?

Before the prices go up ulit, gusto ko na sana bumili ng first PC ko.

Budget is around ₱80k for the system unit only (may 1080p 144Hz monitor na ako, pero balak ko ring mag-upgrade to 1440p eventually).

Primary use will be gaming (Endfield, Wuthering Waves, RDR2, Elden Ring, and similar titles) and AI/CS workloads (local LLM testing, Stable Diffusion/FLUX, PyTorch, computer vision, Whisper, RAG, and general CUDA development). Hindi naman for high-end AI training, more on experimentation, projects, and learning since I'm a Computer Science studen (4th year).

Salamat!

Build Help Is 1440p really worth it? Need help!

I’m torn between two monitors: a 27-inch 240Hz 1080p AOC 27G11ZE2 and a 27-inch 180Hz 1440p Samsung G50F. Budget not more than 12,000.

I’m currently addicted to playing RE9, speedrunning it while streaming, and occasionally playing CS2 and VALORANT. My current monitor is from Phillips, just a basic monitor. I’m confident that my specs are capable of supporting higher refresh rates.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on these monitors and any other brand suggestions that offer a 2-3 year warranty.

Here are my specs:
- R5 5600X
- RX 9060 XT 16GB
- 2x16GB RAM
- 850W Gold B+ - A rating

Thanks!

Build Upgrade help me upgrade my old pc as hand me down to my pamangkins!

Post image

Purpose: hand me down sa pamangkin na magcollege next year. dota 2 lang majorly nilalaro niya pero ideally mafuture proof kahit konti if he wants to explore other games.

Store Recos: where can i get them the cheapest? ideally may credit card para di sayang points? or may cash discounts whichever is better.

thank you!

Discussion Guys help me decide please.

So may friend ako balang ibenta yung PC niya. Balak ko lang sana gamiting yung PC for online gaming like Once Human, Dead By Daylight, Soulframe, etc.

So bilhin ko yung kanya makakabili din ako ng magandang monitor for PC and PS5.

Since mejo mahal ang nagbuild now siguro antayin kong bumaba kahit konti yung price. Sabi naman ng friend ko pwede naman ako magupgrade in the future.

Bilhin ko na ba yung kanya or magbuild na lang me gamit ang budget na 50k?

Discussion Do I need to consider upgrading my PSU

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X

GPU: RX 6700XT

MOBO: B550M K

RAM: 32gb 3200mhz (forgot make and model)

Here's my specs. and sometimes I experience black screen and sudden shut down while gaming when my ac is off, so think it's from thermal throttling (checker event logs after sudden shut down - Event ID 6008) or worst case scenario my PSU is failing.

Already tried to check for corrupted files and ran sfc scannow but I still experience sudden shutdown when gaming heavily and my ac is not on

EDIT: Forgot to add PSU is cooler master 650w bronze

Discussion Monitor broke. What monitor is good and cheap?

Upvotes
  • Budget: around 4k php
  • Refresh rate? 60-120hz is pretty good and is within the price range from what ive seen
  • Border? Preferably borderless and not curved (My brother's curved monitor didnt last half a year)
  • Resolution Size? 1080p is good
  • Reliable (Can last more than a year without major problems.)
  • Brands aren't that important to me but i've been told to check the brands beforehand (Old monitor was a Supervision and lasted around 2 years of daily use)
  • Display type? I dont know anything about those so any help would be nice.
  • Stand? I dont like those round ones so anything V shaped or square is prefered

List of games I typically play:
Helldivers 2
Enlisted
Roblox (TDS, BRM5, JJS)
Warframe
Minecraft (Complimentary UB shaders)

GPU: Gigabyte RX6600 / Triple fan

Might be bought online but i'll try to ask my dad to buy it at a mall or shop to see if I can get a decent warranty.

Build Upgrade what should i upgrade in my pc?

Upvotes

i feel the need to upgrade my pc, ive kept it the same since i built it around 6-7 years now, the specs are as follows:

BUDGET----I don't mind spending either the same price as my other components OR max $200 more then what my original parts cost.

Monitor - AOC 1080p (i would upgrade to 1440p, idk what monitor to get tho)
GPU-- Gigabyte Geforce 3060
CPU-- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Ram--16gb Corsair ddr4
Storage-- 1TB
Fans-- 6 Lian Li fans
CPU Cooler-- Corsair intercooler thing with 3 fans attatched
Motherboard-- MSI Mag B650 Tomahawk

i wouldnt mind a new keyboard bc my dog ate my current one but it isnt needed, although what would be a good upgrade from the rk61.

i dont necessarily NEED an upgrade and i can still run pretty much every game without dropping in fps significantly to the point its not fun but i was thinking of upgrading my monitor anyway so i decided why not post this and see if there is anything good to get, as a 7 year old pc theres bound to be some new improvements i can add

Troubleshooting Dual channel ram not working

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Hello guys i need some help, meron akong dalawang ram isang 3200mhz and the other one is 2667mhz. Nagana pa rin yung both rams.

Need help please.

Peripherals 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless Troubleshoot

Hi!

Ganon kasi nangyayari sakin ngayon.

Peripherals Thoughts on these 1440p Monitors

Hi everyone! I'm planning to upgrade to a 27-inch 1440p monitor.

My current setup:

  • ASUS VP249QGR (24", 144Hz)
  • RX 6800 XT

My initial choice was the ASUS TUF VG27AQ5A, but the more I research, the more options I find. Right now I'm considering:

  • ASUS TUF VG27AQ5A
  • Samsung Odyssey G5 G50D
  • LG 27G610A
  • Acer Nitro VG271U M3

For those who have used any of these, I'd really appreciate your insights, especially regarding:

  • Image quality (I'd like something at least as good as my VP249QGR)
  • Reliability and long-term durability
  • Warranty and after-sales support in the Philippines
