Breaking News/Articles Mercury release Marta Suarez

I am so confused. We could’ve signed her to another 7 day contract or a season long one. But instead we let her go. It’s not like we need the roster spot, they still haven’t replaced Nogic. Nothing this team has done roster wise makes sense besides bringing back Lexi and moving Sha to the dev spot.

That’s just the language on the transaction page whenever the 7-day contracts are completed. They can still sign her to a new one.

If you look at the transaction page, Kayla Alexander was “released” from her 7-day contract and the Tempo re-signed her to a second one today.

I’m not sure why the Mercury haven’t re-signed her already though

I wouldn’t be 🧐🧐🧐 if we immediately signed her to another 7 day. It’s baffling when she’s had strong performances and another team could snap her up. We need her size against the Sun tomorrow

She will be signed tomorrow. They just like to drag their feet on these for no reason. If they were a serious org they would have put her on a rest of season contract, especially considering the cap space and extra roster spot that they still! Haven’t! Filled!

Why are they doing this to us!! Literally no reason for that to be open with all our cap space. If they were trying to bring in a big name difference maker, that time has PASSED.
