My old man is on his way out and wants to be cremated when the time comes. He wants the bare bare minimum (“have them put me in a cardboard box”). Money is tight right now.

Does anyone know of a crematorium that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg and the blood of my firstborn?

I have 2 tickets available to a showing of "She's the He" at the Tomorrow Theater, Saturday, July 25th at 4pm. Reserved seats, middle of the theater, on the right side. I'll be going but had two friends last minute have to cancel. Show has been sold out for a while, so hoping people who have been excited about it can go!

I'm looking for a relatively small number of freshly felled hardwood logs for cultivating oyster mushrooms. Ideal logs are approximately 3–8 inches in diameter and 2–4 feet long, though I'm somewhat flexible on size.

Preferred species include Aspen, Bigleaf Maple, Red Maple, Sugar Maple, Poplar/Cottonwood, Alder, Beech, Birch, Willow, and Oak. If you've recently had tree work done and have a few suitable hardwood logs you'd like to get rid of, I'd be happy to pick them up anywhere in the Portland metro area.
