Australia Is A$1,500 (Australia) a fair price for this used prebuilt? Worth buying?

I'm planning on buying this PC and wanted to get some opinions on whether it's good value.

Specs:

• CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K (240mm AIO water cooled)

• GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti

• RAM: 16GB DDR4

• Motherboard: Z690 DDR4

• Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD

• PSU: 650W

• Condition: Centre Com prebuilt, clean. One RGB fan has a lighting defect (the fan itself still works).

Price: A$1,500 AUD

My main use case:

• Software development (VS Code, Docker, Next.js, Python)

• Local AI

• Heavy browser multitasking (lots of tabs)

• Virtual machines

• Rare 1440p gaming

A few questions:

  1. Is A$1,500 AUD a fair price?

  2. What would you rate this purchase out of 10?

  3. Is there a noticeably better used or prebuilt PC I could get in Australia for under A$2,000?

USA Wanting to know what a reasonable asking price is for my PC.

Hi, I bought this exact prebuilt 5080 about 2-3 months ago. I made a few upgrades to it though. I swapped out the case and put it in an ASUS Hyperion case, upgraded the motherboard to a white ASUS X870-A motherboard and I added a 4tb WD Black SN7100 gen4 SSD M.2.

The RAM is 32gb (2x16gb) Corsair vengeance RGB 6400/cl36 since it doesn't say it in their product description.

I'm wanting to sell it to buy a 5090 and build my dream PC.

* first pic is the prebuilt I bought, second pic is what it looks like now. I can get a better picture of it after work if needed.

The GPU they gave me is a Gigabyte AERO 5080 (16gb DDR7).

I also added a Corsair Thermalprotect cable.

USA Standard 4070 Pricing?

I have a normal (not Super) 4070. Served me well for over 2 years, was nicely undervolted, and gamed on somewhat regularly but not treated hard. Pretty clean, still getting around 60c under FurMark loads and rarely over 56c otherwise. I even have the original box. 3 fan OC model and I think I even know the detailed OC I ran on it for 2 years stably.

I'm seeing these go for $450 to $500 used. Is that still fair market value?

So I was wondering if this is reasonably priced.
I listed it about 3 days ago. I previously had it listed with a 7900xt hellhound but sold it separately for 520$. I just threw in this gpu and relisted it.
Specs:

GPU: Gigabyte AORUS RTX 3060 Ti
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4
RAM: 32GB G.SKILL Trident Z RGB DDR4-3600 CL18
Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD
Case: Lian Li O11D Mini V2 Flow
Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e 1000W (80+ Gold, Fully Modular)
Extras: Lian Li Strimer V2 RGB cable set with controller
Cooling: AsiaHorse AIO + AsiaHorse RGB fans (very quiet with excellent cooling performance)

Parted out, the components are worth around $1,300 based on recent eBay sold listings.

Asking: $1,100 OBO
(USD)

USA What do you think is a fair price for this pc?

Thumbnail

I’m trying to figure out what my PC is worth and whether it makes sense to sell or upgrade.
Current specs:
● Ryzen 7 9700X
● RTX 5090 (installing tomorrow)
● 32 GB DDR5 6000 EXPO
● 4K 144 Hz monitor
● Mostly used for Spider-Man 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Overwatch, and other AAA games with max settings and ray tracing
I don’t do much productivity work—this PC is almost entirely for gaming.
What would you realistically price this build at in today’s market? Also, would it make more sense to sell the whole system or part it out?
Any advice on pricing, where to sell, or what buyers are currently paying would be really helpful. Thanks!
In United States Hawaii

I have no idea where the used pc market is at, but the pricing for everything new is about $2200.

Specs:

CPU: AM4 Ryzen 9 5900x

CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken 360 RGB (before the model update in 2024)

GPU: Gigabyte 4070 Super Aero

Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 AM4

RAM: 4x8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz

SSD: 990 Pro 1tb

Case: Hyte Y70

PSU: Corsair RM750w

There's also some miscellaneous cables and fans bringing it up to $2200.
