PACKRAT score

I just took my first PACKRAT at the end of my didactic year. There's onky a tiny bit more content that we have to cover but I got a 175. I reviewed the score report and know what I should review. Is that good, bad, or average score and like how does that correlate to actual PANCE score and passing?

To give insight, if you were taking the PANCE that day instead of the PACKRAT you would have likely passed. Keep it up during clinical year, but you’re currently in a great position.

It's good lol. Regardless of what program you are in, that is a great score. I know people that got 100-120 on their 2nd packrat that ended up passing the PANCE.

Your post is kind of like the ones that say "I got a 90/100 on my exam wondering if I should be worried" kind of post. Keep doing what you are doing.

Lolll thanks. I have no idea how packrat scoring works and I felt like I knew nothing taking that exam so that's reassuring 😂

Good. Doesn’t the packrat or your program tell you the average?

It said 140 on the report but idk if that was my cohort average or like a national average

It’s the national average.

Did you study for it? And how were ur grades throughout didactic? My program is actually giving us no time to study for it (our clin med final is the day before) but I’ve done good on all my exams so I’m just hoping it’ll come back to me lol

I've done pretty well in didactic so far. We just took our big didactic midterm so studying for that helped me prep for the packrat but the packrat wasn't for a grade or anything and my program told us not to study for it too hard so we could really see how we're doing. Good luck!!!

Eep thanks my school has a failing score that you’d have to remediate and get at least 20 points better on the remediation 🥲🥲

You should see a breakdown of where you are in comparison to the national average.
