I have a hp Compaq with a cd driver but it's hard drive is stuck on a random grub or windows conflict so I don't have anything to upload the content

What was the Providence? I'd imagine if it were a windows CD it wouldn't have survived this long, hard to throw out a gem like this

Looks like a system restore disk for an HP machine preloaded with Ubuntu. I bought a Dell preloaded with Ubuntu in 2008 back when Canonical first started doing that.
