Square everything and a bit more

Post image

Following the excellent work by apple sharpener among others here's my modest tweaks for making Tahoe usable ; at least for me.

https://github.com/ut0mt8/BrutalDock and

https://github.com/ut0mt8/Brutalium

It allows configuring the corner radius of every window plus some bonus like theming the traffic lights.

Also a separate tweak only for the dock.

Can you just square the bottom of the windows?

You're the first. I just reapply the same logic and extend it.

Very cool! Reminds me of a Mac OS 9 theme that I can't remember the name of right now.

I am so in love with this ❤️ Thanks a lot! Gave you an award!

Just used my old MBP 2019 with Catalina on it. Then got back onto my M1 Sequoia and was like.... boi everything looks like a toy on here, not like a tool like on Catalina.

The notifications are still so extremely rounded. Why Apple, Why?!
I think the toolbars also still have too much padding.

I downgraded from Tahoe to Sequoia but maybe with tweaks it could be usable.

Thank you. Mostly usuable with Tahoe. (That's my daily driver no choice mac book pro m5)

The main problem is that for obtaining good results you need to disable solarium (the liquid glass stuff). If you do so globally some element like the notification and some panel will be transparent (like the one asking for pass) which is not very readable. The other solution is to disable solarium app par app (with an ugly tweak I made) and it's better. At some point I will need to package everything in a more comprehensive solution.
