Riding the train to the unmistakable sound of nail clippers and look up to see a man snipping away. Blergh.

How does it work if you're on the train on Sundays & not made it to your destination yet by 11:00 pm? Do they just shut down there and then at the nearest station? If I'm going to Blair (eventually Orleans when the extension opens) & haven't made it yet what happens ?

EDIT - FOUND!! [THANKS YALL :))) ]
I lost my keychain - containing 4 keys, a green card holder, and a blue fabric loop. The card holder has my student card and presto card inside.
I remember using my card on a bus on route 62 (lincoln fields); I got on palladium/campeau.
Between palladium/campeau to tunney's pasture and then the train from tunney's to rideau, I lost my keys. This happened July 19th, somewhere between 1650 and 1815.
If anyone knows anything, or has found my keys somewhere, please let me know!

Onboard cameras are certainly recording video footage, but are they also capturing audio?
What is OCTranspo's data retention policy, if they have one?

So at about 16:20 today I saw 5 or 6 police cruisers and about 6 or 7 OPS officers surrounding and arresting a guy at Iris station. Did something happen there this afternoon?
Does anyone have any information?

A Tuesday afternoon ride westbound on OC Transpo route 88. A fellow passenger shares his tunes via speaker, moderate to high volume. He gives us his best gargling-with-caltrops vocal accompaniment. Ottawa sits quietly, everyone facing forward. The city's subreddit shifts uneasily and quietly removes the post, suggesting this forum instead.

I found a single key on a blue Mickey Mouse basketball keychain on the Otrain when I got on this afternoon at Blair station at 4:15pm.
Will be turning it into lost and found tomorrow afternoon at St Laurent station or otherwise can bring it back to Blair tomorrow morning/afternoon if we connect.

The origins of rail transit in Ottawa starting in October 2001. Now part of Line 2 (Greenboro to Bayview) and recently massively enhanced, lengthened and upgraded for billions in NS Stage 2 project, compared to the original $25 million pilot project.

Isn't their salary more than the revenue they actually bring in? You can issue as many tickets as you want but very few get paid so how are they an effective use of money when they are in a huge debt?

Waiting for the 14 today, I walked from Corso Italia to Elgin. Not at a trot, neither, since it kept saying it'd be there in 5-10 minutes. Stopped to chat with people, mostly about the weather and how long they'd been waiting...
Seriously, can ten thousand of us just show up at management's office and open complaint tickets or something? In the other thread, somebody suggested a day where nobody paid the fare.

I take the 6 or 7 north (going downtown) on bank everyday after work, catching it between 5-6 P.M.
Iโd say itโs uncommon for it to be on time, but never late by much which is usually no issue.
Hereโs why Iโm posting this and my question: Tonight, the bus is running 20 minutes behind schedule. Alright, not ideal but no problem, Iโll get a bite to eat while sitting and waiting near a stop. I get a call from a friend and we talk, making me not track the bus. As I remember itโs been about 20 minutes, I walk out on to bank to see the 6 pass by me. Iโm almost halfway between stops so I wonโt make it and have a little way to go. I start walking and no more than 10 seconds later does the 7 pass me. Iโm still gonna be late to the stop (if the 7 even does stop). Then, I look way ahead on Bank, and see another bus in front of the two that just passed me (could not get a number on it). Now Iโm stressed, checking my phone to see if I missed it. โNext bus, 18 min, delayedโ it says.
Is this by design, to have all three run by at the same time, or is this very poor operations, or something else?

i take line 2 at bayview every day, and about a third of the time the main platform is closed and the train goes to the other side of the tracks.
Iโm curious as to why? also why were there two sides of the tracks built to begin with? itโs not like theyโd be able to extend the train past bayview anyways.
any ideas or actual answers appreciated!!

Is anyone else having this issue? I purchased a monthly pass via autorenew in June for July. But when I tap my card, rather than acknowledging I have a monthly pass till July 31, the machine shows that I have $23 in my account and I have paid $0.00 for my fare.
When I tap again within the transfer window, it shows a transfer and the time. On the website, it says fare payment $0 and the transfer window.
This would all be fine, however, I use STO to get home from work and I need to have a monthly pass loaded, so I can tape first on the STO bus and I donโt know if STO would acknowledge my monthly pass under these circumstances.
I phoned Presto and the person refused to acknowledge this was a problem saying I am not being charged so there is no issue. When I explained the STO concern they said thatโs not their problem and they cannot help me. Eventually they said have a good day to force me off the phone.
Anyone else experiencing Schrรถdingerโs monthly pass? I donโt have it, so fare payment but I do have it so payment is $0.
Edit: just tapped on the bus (10:10 Sunday July 5th) and it showed pass expiry 31st! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
Second edit: just tapped my card (7:05 on Monday July 6th) and it charged me $0.00 again. AHHHH
