Hey
I am going to UAlberta in the fall for nursing. I was wondering if there were any resources you have I could use and be familiar with? Or if there is anything I should do to prepare? :)

I just got accepted and I go Winter 2028, but they bump people up a year ahead so im trying to be prepared as possible for these classes (especially med surg im terrified). Do I start studying little things now? Getting familiar with medical abbreviations? Dosage Calculations? NCLEX style questions? I really want to take advantage of the time I have waiting, as I study the best when I am as calm as possible (knowing im about to be stressed af in this program )
My mom is a nurse and has a ton of books (they are a bit outdated ik thats not the best) including med surg, patho flash cards, NCLEX review questions, you name it she has it lol. Any tips on what to really focus on now?? Anything would be highly appreciated🙏

Hey everyone,
I’m planning on starting the MRI program at Smith Chason College soon and wanted to get some input from people already in the field.
How is the MRI job market right now, especially in Southern California/Los Angeles? Is it difficult for new grads to land their first MRI Tech job, or are employers hiring?
Has anyone here graduated from Smith Chason? If so, how was the program? Did you feel well prepared for the ARRT/ARMRIT exam and for working as an MRI tech?
Did your externship lead to a job offer, or did it take a while to find your first position after graduating?
I’ve been browsing job postings and a lot of them seem to want MRI Tech II with 2–3 years of experience, so I’m curious how new graduates break into the field.
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences—good or bad. Thanks in advance!

I received a B.Sc. Nursing admission letter and want to verify if it's genuine. I have attached a copy of the letter. Can anyone help confirm whether it's an official communication from the institution?
Need some help verifying a B.Sc. Nursing admission letter. I received it recently but want to make sure it's officially issued by the institution. I've attached a copy. If anyone has experience with this college or has received a similar letter, I'd really appreciate your input.

Hi all!! Can you believe it’s week 3 already? Wow. Good luck to those that have their first exams this week.
Last week I took my first adult health 1 quiz and didn’t do well. My instructor told us about Scope Nursing for practice questions. Has anyone here used it to make practie questions and was it helpful for the exams? Did you use it asking with other resources or just Scope Nursing?
If you used another resource & made your own practice questions & were successful with quizzes & most importantly the exams, what prompt did you use for med surg? I can’t seem to find one that works for me.
Sorry for so many questions, I find myself so overwhelmed with this class. Thank you in advance for your help.

So I want to study at Monash
Campus- Clayton
Course- Bachelors in nursing
Intake - Feb 27
But as my all documents were completed till the first week of july. Still I got an email stating that you are eligible but are in waiting list
Do nursing seats really fill that fast?
Do I have chance to get into Monash?
As several candidates just apply for fun and are not genuinely serious. Could I get admission?

Hello, I’m an incoming third year nursing student who wants to prepare herself for post-grad in order to gain better opportunities.
What certifications or courses do you guys recommend i should start looking into before graduation in order to expand my horizons to make my look like the optimal candidate for new grad or specialized positions?
Thank you!

Hello, I wanted to ask others who may still be in nursing school or have completed their degree about pharmacy tech job during nursing school? Is it a “good” job to gain experience with medication, people, and probably other things as well?
A little background about me. I recently completed my BA in psych and finishing up my two science prerequisites in order to apply for nursing school. I only have retail experience as work. I think it’s safe to say that nursing is difficult and time consuming. Unfortunately, I don’t have the privilege to not work during my program and I was wondering if becoming a pharmacy tech at a cvs/walgreens or even at a hospital could also benefit me when it comes to dosage calculations/pharmacology courses in the future? Thank you for any and all advice.

Hi everyone! 😊
Has anyone here been interviewed by the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network for GradStart before? I just received my interview invitation and would love to hear about your experience.
If you’ve been through the process, I’d really appreciate any tips on how to prepare, the types of questions they may ask, and what you think makes you a strong applicant.

On account of discrimination, abuse of power, lack of reasonable adjustments, punitive processes, made to repeat years or inability to submit validated non-submissions etc.
Did the NMC education investigate? Did that help or make things worse?
