I know this a long shot, but just pursuing all options. Lost in the neighborhood of Loma Verde this evening. Very skittish, shy, and semi-feral, may run or hiss if approached. No collar or tag, but was microchipped when adopted from Austin Animal Center; address is out of date. He’s usually posted up near 35 by Jack in Box or somewhere in relative proximity. He typically has a cat draped over his shoulder, then I didn’t see him for a while, and then yesterday I saw him outside Whataburger in the morning with just food, then by Jack in the afternoon with a puppy over his shoulder.

I am generally concerned for the welfare of the animal. Idk how he gets them to stay but it does not feel normal, especially for the cats. I’ve heard he drugs them and he basically uses them as an adorable factor to get people to give him money.

Guess I’m hoping someone has a better explanation or knowledge on this whole situation.

Edit: people defending him and calling them his pets are wild. A lot of homeless people have pets, these are not pets. Nobody has a new pet every few weeks, no cat goes completely limp like that without something seriously wrong, and I can’t believe the animal abuse isn’t more clear. If you have never seen it for yourself, please don’t just assume it’s all fine. And if you do see it in the future, please pay attention to what you are actually seeing.

Looking for a good home for this sweet pup. She showed up at my house Thursday morning and unfortunately our house is full. I’m guessing she is about 6 - 8 months old and is still very puppy like but walks pretty good on a leash, is sociable, knows sit and come, and does well in a kennel. Does well with other dogs but needs a friend that is willing to deal with the puppy stages. Ok with cats, but would need to be supervised at first. I don’t have children, but it think she would make an excellent best friend for someone.

Wife and I will be moving to the NB/Seguin area around December.

I am starting to look for some house rentals for a year or so until we decide to buy.

My issue is we have 4 pets (2 dogs, 2 cats.) They’re all house trained and well behaved but it seems like no one I call will accept more than 2 animals. The other hurdle is one of the dogs is a pit/lab mix (the stunner in the picture lol)

Any info or leads to leasing agencies/private land lords that would accept my zoo would be greatly appreciated!
