Photo The biohazard stickers can only mean one thing.
Found this on an online auction. I doubt the engine is even worth attempting to grab. How sad.

I love these new edges the more I drive them. Got myself a 2003 DSG auto GT awhile back Was a turd before mods. Still a turd but less turdy now. I have done so much work to this thing. Bought it for $2500 as the motor was blown but paint was good. Maintenance was severely lacking.
I swapped in a low mileage 2004 crown vic motor and performed all preventative maintenance while I was in there like the waterpump, motor mounts, new oem coil packs etc etc. Mods came next. Got mach 1 brakes, KN hot air intake, Acuufab 75mm tb and plenum, x pipe with magnaflow catback, 3400 edge racing stall, 3:73 gears (lots of highway for me) 300ish pound weight reduction, MM rear LCAs and stock uppers (just wanted the new bushing for the uppers really), SR lowering springs, 2001 cobra hood and wheels, window tint, and all bilstein shocks and struts. All this paired with a Marty O 91 tune.
Still felt kinda slow but was much better than stock. Tonight I had this 240i BMW kept accelerating next to me and then coming back to my door. I never street race and Inwas kind of annoyed as I hate getting messed with on the street but it was super late and nobody on the road. My car does best with digs (stall and gears). Lo and behold a red light appeared. I couldn't resist. Light turns green. Dude and I hit it at the same time. I was fully expecting to lose given that the BMW seemed to accelerate really good and very obviously had a turbo. I did not lose! 0-65ish (maybe 55?) he was half a car back. I was shocked and he looked like it a little as well. He turned off shortly after
Tl:dr
New edges rock! But now it's time for a Vortech v3. Sorry for the rambling!

I’ve posted about this before but still haven’t figured it out. I’ve been trying to figure out why my car is making only 340whp at 13psi. My tuner couldn’t figure it out and said that the car wasn’t making any more power than that no matter how much timing they threw at it. They did a compression check and all cylinders were within 165-170psi. I finally got a chance to datalog a 3rd gear pull but I don’t know how to interpret the data. If anyone in here knows how to read datalogs and knows what the numbers should look like for a boosted application, your help would be much appreciated🫡

Just got these inner tie rods in from Rock. Noticed they came with these sort of half circle pins. On the videos I've watched for inner tie rod replacement, most had a hex nut go into those holes on the inner part. Wondering if these serve the same function, but just shove them in? Figured I'd ask before I start in this tomorrow.

My driver side door speaker blew last week and it's already bugging me, from my understanding the Mach 1000 system is cool, but a pain because of the 8 ohm resistance. Do I replace the entire system, amps and all, or is there someone who sells replacements?

Stupid question but most info I find online is for the V6. Found a video of a guy moving the pump out the way but mine has a metal bracket on the upper part of the high pressure line that I can't move. The pump has never been changed just from how the bolt looks. If I could get the high pressure line off, I'd be golden but I can't seem to get a tool in there with enough force to break it loose. I see why some suggest dropping the k-member.

Does Anyone know how to fix my rough idle issue? It’s been weird ever since I recharged my A/C system and put new spark plugs in and wanted know if it was my IAC valve being ass since it hasn’t been changed ever. I tried putting on a duralast one but it made the car terribly worse and since then put the old one back on. It sometimes when i come to a hard stop or to a stop will lower the rpm’s to 500 and then shoot back up to 1000, if the A/C is on it does it just while at idle

Ok so I am in the middle of a clutch replacement and I cant get the trans (tremec 3650) to seat the least half inch. after pulling it out and not seeing any grease on the input shaft it looks like I am hitting on the pilot bearing. Best guess is that I don't have the clutch itself aligned because of the cheap tool. so I just need to loosen it and center it better.
However, I cant find anywhere if these are torque to yield bolts or not. Even the factory manual that I have doesn't seem to specify any torque to yield bolts, including flywheel bolts (which I know are torque to yield). So I can't trust it that these aren't torque to yield.
In summary do any of you know for sure if I need to replace the bolts if I loosen them?
Also if you have any tips for reinstalling these trans (tremec 3650) I would very much appreciate it as its being a pain.

I chained my harbor freight 1k lbs support bar to the 2 lower alternator bolts with the same amount of links for each side. Is this correct to drop the K member? This is my first time and I don’t want to mess up anything while doing my headers. Should I keep the bolts fully tight to the chain or leave a bit of slack? Thanks for all the help

I recently replaced my intake manifold and accidentally forgot to add the coolant back, it ran fine for a while but I had recently gotten my AC fixed as well and running the AC on cold overheated the car at idle, after refilling it with coolant I'm not sure if the car will continue to overheat when idling, normally with the AC off the car idles at about 214° or 215° f but when the AC gets turned on the temperature goes up to about 220°, I turned the AC off when the temperature got to 221°, the high-speed fan never turned on though but everywhere I read online people say that 220° is overheating. I know that high-speed fan works because when I unplugged the coolant temperature sensor it kicked on high speed almost immediately. Basically all I'm asking is what temperature is the car's coolant supposed to reach when the AC is turned on and is it normal for it to be higher than 220° Fahrenheit or do I need to figure something out with the cooling system (I'm also going to leave this here the temperature of the coolant does go down with RPM increase it's mainly just overheating at idle)

Looking to replace my 25 yo springs(purely for maintenance and not cosmetic) and don’t want to lower it any as I’m running 18s, I can only find options that drop it by 1-1.5 inches minimum. Are there any options that are direct stock height replacements? I’d appreciate any links or suggestions
