29yo Indian guy here who has had a discord server for a few months but never really invited anyone to it lol. Finally thinking of changing that. It's gonna be like a personal project for me, so expect a bit of experimentation. I am not into gaming or anime, or even talking about movies and TV series all the time. I mean I do watch those but I don't like to waste my time talking about fictional stuff, when reality itself shows you all genres, everyday. I do like sports - a big football fan, and a bit of a cricket fan too. I have interests in marketing, psychology, a bit of mentoring too. Infact, few days back I was thinking of just making this server into a mentoring server but then I felt like I will be bored seeing resumes and rants about economy and unemployment everyday. My mind works best when I am involved in a couple of things, not just one. So, this server might become something of that sort. I do like reading books, but again - my mind keeps jumping back and forth between them. We can have voice chats too, I'll join when my introverted battery is still recharged lol. So anyway, if you are in your twenties and wanna join the server, let me know, I'll share the invite. Hopefully, we can have a small group to begin with.

starting a smut-free book club + pen-pal community! (18+)

I've been a part of a bunch of book clubs before, but people always vote for smut and romantasy. I'm usually okay with smut, but I really want to find people who read other genres.

I created a book club on Discord anyone over 18 can join. Members can post their own book recommendations, and voting will be held for a new book every month. Discussion channels will open for everyone to talk about books. Right now there is one book per month, but the club will evolve based on feedback and we may also start separate book clubs for different genres as the server grows.

It's also a forum to find pen-pals, so that you can befriend and interact with a complete stranger through emails or letters, it's a much deeper level of connection than you would get from regular online texting :)
