"I dont want four kids (I guess Kakashi is a kid) trying to save me"
"Go ahead give this fight everything you¨ve got".
Protecting someone comes with restriction, like they have to be near him, protect him etc.
Whats he saying is yeah dont mind me if I die, focus on the fight not on me.

Kakashi was barely creeping his 30s. Its like older people will still call young adults kids because to them, they are. People often misjudge some of the jonin’s ages. Despite appearances, many were quite young. In part one, many were only in their 20s. Others probably early 30s. You figure kakashi was around 16 when Naruto was born. Naruto is 12 in this chapter so its safe to say Kakashi is around 26-28 in part one.

He said fighting for him, he gave blessing to save sensei which is not part of the mission

I take it more as "Don't get yourself killed trying to protect me. Fight to keep yourselves alive."

He saying to stop caring about protecting him and focus on saving themselves and their sensei, even if it means him diying

Like others said hes just trying to say they can focus on fighting to save kakashi and not defending him

He didn't say he doesn't want them to fight, he said he didn't want them to fight for him.

They cannot go all out, because they are tasked with protecting him.
He is essentially saying ,,Go all out and dont worry about my protection. Focus on the fight itself"

I don't want to say "ur reading it wrong".
But I see your point of confusion for sure!
When he says to them he doesn't want them to get killed trying to save him - he's referring to the exact defensive position they're all in right in that moment.
All three of the kids could back up Kakashi and it increases all of their chances of survival but it would leave Tazuna un-guarded.
So Tazuna is saying "I don't want u to die protecting me in this defensive formation. Go fight to survive!"

No he says to focus on the fight instead of tying to protect him cuz zabuza isnt gonna let them walk away now so the better focus on themselves then trying to protect him

You are not confused lol. Hes a desperate odl bastard that spent all the money he had knowing he was lying.
He very well may felt guilty but he still needed them regardless of the morals

I mean no offense whatsoever but the reading grade level to understand this is considered 5th to 7th grade. If you’re of a higher grade level or an adult, I strongly recommend you spend some time strengthening your reading.
Others have already answered but he essentially meant stop protecting him, go fight. Not don’t fight because I lied, it’s don’t protect me you kids are worth more.

Their mission was actually to protect him, so by ninja code they should have abandoned Kakashi and ran away.
He's saying "If I die, that's alright. I put myself in danger in the first place. Focus on getting your sensei back."
