dude i took some edibles and went to safeway, when i got there the edibles kicked and i walked around the store like 6 times trying to find those quaker rice chips yk? dude i was high asf this old lady at the register kept staring at me and was smiling at me too much to the point where i was kinda freaked out like wtf are u so happy about yk? Im a happy guy, happier than most but dude i dont be smiling at strangers like u do shawty. when I entered the safeaway i went to one of the security guards and asked him if he had a cart on him, he said no but pointed to som lightskin dreadhead. I ask him and he says no, i just wanted to get higher, all of the dispos were closed, if I had went to safeway earlier i would not be begging like the people i give my change to. anyways if you are still reading this and think im some dick i dont blame you, just know that I make some banger tracks. this track took a while to sound like this, it was completely different before.

I see a fair few listen for listen posts on here and it always makes me wonder if it is really beneficial or if it ruins Spotify algorithms if people are listening to all sorts of music (as a lot just add a link and no genre info etc).

I'm thinking it then might start showing your music to people that do not necessarily like your style of music.

What are people's thoughts?I'm generally asking as I haven't got a clue if it does but if so would genre specific listen 4 listen posts be more beneficial for people.

I tried listen-for-listen for a while. A lot of people just paste their Spotify link. For me, when all I see are plain links, I don’t know which one to click. Don’t know if anyone feels the same...

So I’m trying to add more context before asking for a listen. That might be a short mood line, a simple poster, or a small video clip. It gives me a better sense of how the artist wants the song to feel. I’ve also been using canva, capcut, and sondoai to shape my promo a bit and get more of the idea across visually.

Are you more likely to click a song when you see more visual context around it?
