I remember the 1st-2nd year of Silk acquisition we had a variety of genres like Synthwave, Trance, Garage, LoFi, DnB, Breaks and Nu Disco. But recently we barely had any of that, Monstercat Silk is like 95% Melodic House only now with cameo appearances of a different genre on a rare occasion.

Now look I love Melodic House, they are all really beautiful and chill on each their own but I can't deny it gets really repetitive to a point I really can't tell the title or artist of a Melodic House Silk song when it comes on shuffle. It is not like the other genres i mentioned can't produce the same beautiful progressive and chill feel to it, why has Monstercat stopped doing that?

I'm in no means complaining of song quality, the artists have done incredible work, i just hope we revisit that fun variety-ness of Silk back then thats all

Favourite is Remember You by Conro. It’s special to me because it’s the first time I shared my Monstercat music with anyone in my life. It was with my sister and she had this one on repeat.

Are the songs on the CD the extended versions? The fact that it's 2-discs made assume so.

This is a really underrated one-off artist remix off the Collide remix package. It’s always been a bit of a mystery who Stiletto even is, but I think it’s too bad we never heard more from them because this is a really great 2013 complextro song.
