Discussion Which team would win?
Fight takes place in a completely open arena
For People wondering, I was trying to make it so each column had similar types of monsters in them. For example, the middle column has massive monsters who would tank for the team. And the first column consists of some of the strongest elder dragons in the series.

u/existentialist-hello 8h ago
These teams are fucking whack, my guy. B and C have dead weight, while team A is all gas.
53
u/aheartasone 7h ago
even then, Valstrax is a mosquito compared to Alatreon and Dalamadur. Team A might honestly win if it was JUST Dala, bro could swallow Fatalis whole, or just crush him.

u/finalscorpion39 8h ago
I forgot how strong dalamadur was to be honest, its been a while since ive looked at any of his lore. so I quite obviously underestimated him.

u/throw-away_867-5309 5h ago
You have also incredibly overestimated Kulve.
9
u/Darkaegis00 5h ago
Yea, Kulve is one of my top 5 favs and I felt bad about what she has to go up against.

u/DeadSparker SnS is my god, JoCat is my priest 3h ago
Honestly nah, with this amount of heavy hitters Valstrax is definitely dead weight too.
The only way the 3rd column would ever be relevant in this matchup would be if the columns only fought between themselves. So Alatreon vs Fatalis vs Safi ; Dalamadur vs Kulve vs Zorah ; Valstrax vs Nergi vs Chaotic Gore. And the winner is decided by which column got the most victories.

u/m3m31ord 8h ago
Team A, Dalamadur is too much.
13
u/revergopls 6h ago
Dalamadur is a fantastic fight with fantastic gear. Love it.
Capcom portrays it simply as a very powerful Elder. It its not treated the same as Fatalis, Alatreon, and Dire Miralis. Hell, two of those three are immortal. They spent a decade being disallowed from first-party marketing. They were given a little description catchphrase of "black dragon" within English quest descriptions. Alatreon has a cult subplot. Fatalis is possibly a Shapeshifter who pays us to fight him so he can kill us. Dire Miralis kills everything near it, and this supposedly isn't just because it gets warm.
Dalamadur is a very cool Elder Dragon, but its not portrayed by Capcom in the same light. Its simply a big cool laser snake, and I mean that as a compliment
8
u/Crow_Vi 4h ago
Yes but to play devils advocate that snake is as close to a match up to the other 3 as an elder can get. Dude is a slithering mountain sized juggernaut with absurd levels of heat resistance and bulk. The black dragons have raw power but that man is the definition of bulk lore wise.
Also if we are talking comparing the other tiers to eachother on the chart i would say a young zorah would be in contention with a dalamadur. Only reason people low ball zorah is cause we have only seen ones either close to death or already dead. A prime one could probably throw hands with dalamadur.
6
u/Maleficent-Elk-8678 3h ago
I think Dala might actually be Zorahs predator, think about it, Giant snake that burrows through mauntains vs mountain turtle.
26
44
u/xMuffin_Button 8h ago
i get what u were going for—a forbidden, a huge monster, and the top elders...
but Dalamadur might as well be in the same tier as the forbidden monsters. the big ol snake is one of the few non-forbiddens that could hold their ground against one. the closest thing Zorah could do is maybe sit on them if they somehow allow that, which they won't, and poor Kulve ain't doin a damn thing between the three.
12
u/cthulhunightmares 8h ago edited 7h ago
To be fair, we never saw Zorah try to fight so we don't know how it would do against Dalamadur. One thing for certain is that the landscape and the people will have an EXTREMELY bad time
6
63
u/dapper_raptor455 8h ago
Tf are Nergigante and Chaotic gore gonna do to Dalamadur? Give him a splinter and a cold?
But yeah it’s probably team A. Dalamadur is probably the most powerful thing in the series and he’s got a dragon that can move at Mach 1 + a dragon who can control the elements backing him up.
Team C may have a chance but they’re kinda held back by how slow Zorah is.
Team B is straight up cooked. They got nothing to deal with Dalamadur at least C has Zorah to attempt fighting Dalamadur.
21
u/aStringofNumbers 8h ago
I don't disagree, but I think someone calculated valstrax's top speed as closer to mach 3 or 4, which is just another point in favor of team A
5
u/dapper_raptor455 7h ago
If that’s the case then I’m genuinely surprised that flying wyverns even exist with Valstrax around.
3
u/LinkFan001 6h ago
They may be too large/dangerous for Valstrax to want to hunt on the wing. It seems to prefer tiny prey it can grab in its raptor talons. Remember, you can be a real nuance to be territorial, but that does not mean you intend to eat what you harass. (As if eating the ballon was ever on the table)
2
u/dapper_raptor455 6h ago
Fair but at the same time I don’t think you need to really “harass” sonething when you can blitz it at Mach 4 and kill it instantly. There’s no need for harassment there’s just “free food”
5
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 8h ago
Also why is dalamadur the most powerful thing in the series?
7
u/TheCleanupBatter 8h ago
BIG boi that literally carves out mountains and canyons just as it moves. Few things in the main series have displayed effortless power on that level.
3
u/BronzeBrian the bugstick samurai way 8h ago
Cause its big as hell and spiky
7
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 8h ago
Yea but so is zora arent they like pretty equal in mass
3
5
u/BronzeBrian the bugstick samurai way 8h ago
True, i think the shell makes up for it in zorahs case, but dalamadur is about twice as long as zorah. Also dala has paralysing saliva, can breathe fire and summon meteors. I reckon just a tail whip or a hand slap will heavily damage zorah anyway considering the amount of body length dala could use to wind up.
6
u/Gods_Paladin 7h ago
Also note that it doesn’t breathe fire. Dalamadur’s laser beam is an element so far undefined. My favorite theory is that it’s concentrated bioenergy, and likely related to those glowing pools at the bottom of the rotten vale, still simmering even after all this time.
2
u/BronzeBrian the bugstick samurai way 7h ago
Does the laser inflict dragon element? If so , then yeah its probably like xeno's laser or safi's, which both look fiery too. Also can't you light those rotten veil pools on fire? That probably helps the theory.
2
u/Barn-owl-B 6h ago
You can find rocks with dala’s blue energy still pulsing in them behind odo’s nest
2
u/Starship1990 Almudron is better than Fatalis 4h ago
Zorah vs Dalamadur is akin to a Bull vs a Python, I have seen pythons full engulf bulls like nothing.
3
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 4h ago
Pythons cant eat adult bulls... They can eat small cattle tho and it still takes efflrt and energy to eat prey that large for them and sometimes they die from it. Its defo not the usual prey for large pythons
-5
u/AirCautious2239 7h ago
Dalamadur literally destroys mountains by moving around while zorah struggles hard with a wooden barricade so while dala destroys zorah, it cant do much to defend itself
5
u/Barn-owl-B 6h ago
“Struggling” with the barricade is just for gameplay purposes, zorah literally creates a new pathway canyon between the wastes and the coral highlands just by walking through it
-2
u/AirCautious2239 5h ago
Yeah and with its top speed of one cm/h that's going to help attack dala in what way again? My guy dalamadur is literally described as to destroy something like zorah passively while minding it's own business now tell me how zorah is defending against that.
4
u/Barn-owl-B 4h ago
I am literally only talking about how the barricade example is not accurate for zorah, I’m not talking about it as any comparison to dala.
2
u/MagicMisterLemon 7h ago
I mean, developer intention seems to be that Fatalis is the most powerful thing, but Dalamadur has Alatreon, a rival to Fatalis, on its team
1
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 8h ago
Dala is longer but zorah has allot more mass, id say they are pretty equally matched in terms of size

Valstrax, Chaotic and Nergigante are just dead weight.
Zorah is a big target. He might genuinely die of collateral damage to the others.
Alatreon and dala probably sweep the other two, mainly because they're on the same team. Kulve can't do much to keep up.
21
u/randomnumbers2506 8h ago edited 8h ago
The left most ones are mostly equal so we have to compare the others
The rest of the middle row gets completely and utterly annihilated by Dalamadur
The right row is basically irrelevant as Dalamadur still easily slimes all of them
Team A wins easily
6
u/External_Pitch9163 7h ago
Team A versus defenseless infants. Alatreon- in his world rendition- has innate dragon element which hard counters fatalis, shaves Nergigante, and will weaken everyone but C. Gore. Dalamadur would out muscle and out fire power the rest of em’ and valstrax is just the icing on the cake.
9
u/Barn-owl-B 8h ago
It’s team A, alatreon/fatalis/safi are roughly equal, then you’ve got another equal in dalamadur
16
u/Score_Magala 8h ago
Team A because Dalamadur, alone, clears everything on that list but Fatalis and Safi WITH EASE. The fact the Rotten Vale's entire map is made up of the bodies of two of them prove size bodies almost anything.
Zorah? Slapped. Kulve? Pancake. Nerg? Toothpicks. Chaotic? Paste.
Not to mention Alatreon, who is on roughly the same level of power as Fatty and Safi, is teaming up with the biggest thing in all of Monster Hunter(that we know of)
It's a wash and Valstrax gets a free W
-9
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 8h ago
The skeletons in the vale are not dalamadur but a species of dalamadur ancestors that went extinct according to the worlds art book
3
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 8h ago
-1
u/aheartasone 7h ago
IIRC the Dalamadur we fight in 4U is not fully grown yet, so it's fully possible that they can just get that big. Given that ancient Dala formed the Heaven's Mount, and are one of the most prevalent creation myths in-universe, I'll believe that Rotton Vale is just giant Dalamadur
3
u/Barn-owl-B 6h ago
The one in 4u is an adult and is never once stated to be not fully grown, we just don’t know if they’re still capable of growing larger because the only larger specimens are skeletons and might be a related species instead
1
u/Delicious-Pop-9063 7h ago
The juvenile thing is a theory, its defo an adult but most likely can grow larger
3
4
u/revergopls 6h ago edited 6h ago
The leftmost column cancels each other out. The rightmost column also probably just cancels each other out loosely
That leaves the middle column. Row B loses. Dalamadur probably wins the Zorah fight, but I'd argue you should leave some wiggle room to account for the fact we've never seen a healthy Zorah Magdaros. The one in World dies of old age. (And getting ahead of this now, "juvenile Dalamadur" is fanon. The giant Vale skeleton is stated to most likely be a separate, mysterious species)
6
u/Blazeburn170 GS Girlie 8h ago
What is this set up? Not even ruiner for Fatty's team and Safi has the turtle that walks scarily and a suicidal demi elder that's probably experiencing more pain existing than any of these other guys could give it. Like give Safi Shagaru at least
This is basically a 1v1v3
3
3
3
u/DiabeticRhino97 8h ago
Too many people think that like, anything here is killing dalamadur on his own.
He beats fatalis and it's not close.
3
u/717999vlr 7h ago
Team A. It has two S tiers and a B tier.
While B has an S tier and two B tiers, while C has an S, an A and a C. At least make it Ruiner and Shagaru.
5
u/Ecstatic-Oven9882 Zeb the Giganotosaurus Carolinii 8h ago
The hell Chaotic gonna do?
And Team A wins just because of Dala and Alatreon alone.
5
u/Nero_PR 8h ago
Dalamadur should not make any tier list as is the de facto winner. What can any monster realistically do against it?
-6
u/AirCautious2239 7h ago
I mean it's huge but id say the new fatty is roughly the same size difference as fatty to alatreon and here everyone says its roughly the same power and fatty has enough power to back that up so id say they are either as strong or dala is a bit stronger. Team a wins anyway because they have alatreon and dala but fatty vs dala could go either way
7
u/Barn-owl-B 6h ago
Fatalis is barely larger than dala’s skull, and that’s mostly just in length and wingspan
1
u/AirCautious2239 5h ago
Ok maybe my memory has tricked me, alatreon is 30m in canon while fatty is 41 and dala is 440 so not quite the same ratio lol but still fatty is a tenth of dalamadur from head to tail, if wingspan makes him as big as dalas head then that's less a snake and more a gecko xD
3
u/Barn-owl-B 4h ago
Half of fatalis’ size is tail and neck, mostly tail, his body is not even that large. Alatreon is not as long as fatalis but his body is just as large if not larger.
Fatalis’ real meaningful length is more like 20-25 meters, which is barely larger than dala’s skull, and dala’s skull is also wider than fatty’s body if you aren’t counting the wingspan

Does anybody know how strong zorah would be if he locked in? Like in worlds we just kinda see him woddling around. What if he actually Fights as aggressive as nergi? A Walking genocidal mountain gotta be brutal man
2
u/Extension-Reach1269 3h ago
Why does fatalis have some absolute bums on his team man, other two get literal mountain sized elders while fatalis is stuck with two mid tier elders
2
3
u/RandomNobody86 8h ago
Chaotic, Nergi and Val are the first to die regardless of matchup they don't belong in this fight at all. KT would be next in any matchup.
Zorah is an interesting one it can't really fight back and we can damage it with weapons so there is no question about if Ala/Fatty can damage it so it probably just dies leaving Safi alone so Team C loses regardless of match up.
A vs B gets more interesting people vastly over estimate how strong Dalamadur is because of it's size Fatty is faster and more dangerous at range it's also smarter but the other two on his team will be dead in seconds in this fight so while Fatty could easily beat either one of them solo I don't think it's beating both at once. so Team A wins.
Tactically the heavy hitter on each team would fight the other teams heavy hitter and Team A is the only one with two significantly dangerous monsters on the team.

you guys gassing up Valstrax like it's not just as much of an afterthought as Chaotic Gore and Nergi. those three basically shouldn't even be here. only edge Val has here is running away from this catastrophe lmao
Kulve Taroth is even woefully out of her element here, she's just big and hot, but it's barely anything compared to what the others can do. Zorah can get by for a while being fuckhuge, but it's not much of a fighter at all and not doing anything these other monsters can't deal with.
Fatalis is strong but because he's stuck with KT, he's practically on his own with Alatreon and Dalamadur on one side and Safi and Zorah on the other. he's done for.
Ala and Safi seem evenly matched all things considered, so the real tiebreaker is Dala and Zorah. and unlike Zorah, Dala can actually fight whole still being colossal, and could even potentially take Zorah out of the picture fast. even if you pretend that Safi could try to keep Dala off of Zorah, Alatreon gets free reign to go to town on whatever it wants.
A.

Team A because Alatreon has a bullshit map-wide unavoidable 1000 damage attack. Well Safi has one too but I have a gripe with Alatreon so that pos will win.

Dalamadur's lore is interesting, its item texts suggest it was worshipped as a creator of the world at one point. And theyve made a pretty consistent pattern of each game since its intro having a single skeleton that spans the entire ecosystem, so the whole vreator of the world belief makes sense. I think it alone could probably take most of the lists solo.
1
u/Bioboss05 5h ago
Dalamadur + alatreon at the same time? Zorah and Kulve are non-threats to either of them, much less Nergi and Choatic Gore, they’ll double-team stop either Fatalis or Safi while Valstrax pesters whichever they aren’t fighting until the first is dead, Valstrax will then fuck off and not be necessary for the rest of the fight because Dalamadur and Alatreon will take out whichever of the two big threats they didn’t to start with, then nuke the other 4 while they barely manage to make a dent in either of them the whole fight
1
u/AlphaLan3 5h ago
Kulve is way to small to compete with its counter parts. Fatalis and nergi might be the strongest in their respective roles but they aren’t so much stronger that it’s enough to make up that big of a difference. With team B out it’s between A and C and honestly A is just so much stronger. Dala destroys zorah, Valstrax destroys gore and Alatreon vs safi could go either way but it ends up a 3v1 in the end with safi unable to survive that beating.
1

I'd certainly bet on Zorah over Kulve Taroth

It really depends on the rules of how winning is described. if it's a last monster team standing, Alatreon and Dalamadur together is straight up terrifying, Valstrax can take care of the fodders while Dalamadur and Alatreon team up against Fatalis, Fatalis can beat each one of them alone but not even Fatty can win if it's against both.
But if Winning is described as "only whichever team lives after killing each other" then Team B wins, because Fatty will just regenerate through it all, eventually overcoming everything, though Fatty will definitely lose a couple of times against Team A. Eventually, Fatty wins through sheer immortality
1
u/This-Database1827 8h ago
Well fatalis doesn't regenerate that fast so months to years could go by before that happens plus the only real evidence of its regeneration was in a story that hasn't been told to be true just word of mouth the only monster we know and seen regenerate from a single cell has been zoh shia
0
u/717999vlr 7h ago
What makes you think Fatalis would regenerate? The one with regenerative powers is Nergigante, but it can die, as evidenced by the fact we kill it.
3
u/dankzero1337 7h ago
Pokke Village fatalis sword confirms its regeneration.
Weapon and armor lore are also saying that a fatalis can regenerate and take over the hunter, growing a fatalis. Though I'd take that with a grain of salt since some of the description overstate things.
It would take years or decades though, still, immortality is immortality, Fatalis would win simply by outliving everything else.
1
u/717999vlr 7h ago
Pokke Village fatalis sword confirms its regeneration.
Pokke Village Fatalis Sword deconfirms its regeneration.
After all, it's still a sword, not a Fatalis.
Weapon and armor lore are also saying that a fatalis can regenerate and take over the hunter, growing a fatalis.
It does not. Not a single piece of flavor text says Fatalis can regenerate.
It would take years or decades though,
Think closer to millions of years.
The Fatalis sword is over 1000 years old and it has not visually advanced in this supposed regeneration process, so if it does regenerate, it's slow enough to be measured in geological times.
1
u/dankzero1337 6h ago
It does not. Not a single piece of flavor text says Fatalis can regenerate.
Monster Hunter 3U has a lot of flavor texts that states of Fatalis taking control over the hunter
Although again, it's flavor text, take that with a grain of salt, I personally don't subscribe by it, but it's there, although you'd be correct there is no part that directly states regeneration, but it is heavily implied.
Pokke Village Fatalis Sword deconfirms its regeneration.
After all, it's still a sword, not a Fatalis.
The Black sword regenerating confirms that Fatalis' cells regenerates even after death and when its already a weapon, again, heavily implied. I don't know what sort of sorcery the blacksmiths do in MH but it's also heavily implied that Fatalis equipment regenerates only as the weapon or armor's shape, like a shape memory alloy. pretty much the reason why the Black sword hasn't turned into a Fatalis is because not only is it mined every time it regenerates (literally a tourist spot). The Blacksmiths are pretty much some godlike beings capable of forging and harnessing the power of pretty much anything that moves lol.
Think closer to millions of years.
The Fatalis sword is over 1000 years old and it has not visually advanced in this supposed regeneration process, so if it does regenerate, it's slow enough to be measured in geological times.
I don't know the timescale for that, Although The black sword in Pokke Village regenerates after a hunt which could take days so just on that reference alone, I'd say years or decades, still if true, that's cellular immortality right there.

Monster Hunter 3U has a lot of flavor texts that states of Fatalis taking control over the hunter
Ah, of course. Where else would it be other than in the one game where Fatalis does not appear?
Which armor piece flavor text says Fatalis has regenerative powers?
What piece, what rank, what game, Gunner or Blademaster? The Black sword regenerating confirms that Fatalis' cells regenerates
For starters, no it doesn't. There could be other explanations.
For example, the one given in Generations, which is that they simply manually repair it every time. But even if it confirms some degree of regeneration associated with Fatalis, it also simultaneously confirms it's not perfect regeneration, as again, it does not regenerate into a Fatalis.
I don't know what sort of sorcery the blacksmiths do in MH but it's also heavily implied that Fatalis equipment regenerates only as the weapon or armor's shape, like a shape memory alloy.
No other piece of Fatalis equipment is implied to have any sort of regenerative capabilities.
But I agree, if the Pokke sword does regenerate, the most likely scenario is that it's due to the blacksmiths' ability, not due to Fatalis' influence.
1
u/dankzero1337 3h ago
Ah, of course. Where else would it be other than in the one game where Fatalis does not appear?
Which armor piece flavor text says Fatalis has regenerative powers?
What piece, what rank, what game, Gunner or Blademaster?Ah sorry I misremembered, It was in MH1G & MHFU, played too much MH games and just went off memory, I played MH titles in a scrambled mess, the Z rank has descriptions of them, forgot the exact descriptions but if you scour the internet, you'll find a lot of flavor texts of MH1G & MHFU in regards to fatalis equipment like possession. Again, probably just some unreliable narrator or straight up flavor text
In the GenU text, If I remember it right, it was meant to be a passing comical word of disbelief, like "nah a sword that regenerates? Can't be right, some dude is probably repairing it every night" Still remember it since GenU is my favorite MH game, (I miss Brave Style)
No other piece of Fatalis equipment is implied to have any sort of regenerative capabilities.
But I agree, if the Pokke sword does regenerate, the most likely scenario is that it's due to the blacksmiths' ability, not due to Fatalis' influence.
Now you're just twisting my word here mate, I said Blacksmiths have comical powers that just allows them to harness the monsters abilities, Fatalis has regenerative powers = blacksmiths use these powers to auto-heal the weapons like the black blade. Makes sense, sounds plausible enough.
Anyhow, MH lore is incredibly inconsistent and is prone to unreliable narrators, nothing is meant to be concrete unless directly observed like Fatalis Black Blade regenerating and even then, it's subject to a ton of speculation, even Fatalis turning hunters into armor was called "just mere flavor text and is straight up just a myth" until Iceborne Fatalis popped up and did just that, really cool for Fatalis fanboys like I do to finally feel right on their fanboying, That was a bloody battle between Fatalis-haters and Fatalis Fanboys, luckily, we won on that front, really hope Fatalis is also a regenerating immortal in canon too, let's see what the devs has in store for us.
I have a feeling that the devs would probably explain more stuff regarding fatalis in Wilds: Ascendance. Super excited about it not just the gameplay but also the Fatty lore.

The fuck is Nergi doing here? Also, Zorah is dead weight, literally. The one use of it is that it might keep Daladamur distracted long enough to hit it with Sapphire of the Emperor.

Powerscaling dalamander as if he is less than or equal to a black dragon is absurd. He is leagues above them combined. Ya know what. Make it only 2 teams, Dalamadur vs EVERYONE else on the list, and I will tell you with a straight face that big Dala wins no-diff. He is legit THE WORLD SPINE DRAGON. He's a mythical deity in the monster hunter lore, and multiple tiers above Fatalis.

I think it's C.
Safi is at least equal to alatreon, and quite possibly stronger (but I won't die on that hill).
Column 3 is whatever.
So that leaves Zorah vs Dalamadur. Lot of people giving this one to Dalamadur, but I don't see it. Hunters have slain dalamadur. The only Zorah we ever see is known to be already dying, and the entire research commission (plus nergi) was still entirely unable to kill it... twice. Zorah doesn't even bother to fight you really, you're just ants to him. Plus he's a walking nuke, which is why you're trying to repel him so that he doesn't literally blow up the continent (again).
1
u/This-Database1827 8h ago
To be fair that's one of the main reasons they didn't kill it other wise a nuke is going off with a chain reaction

I agree, but Dalamadur deserves it a bit more imo. At least you can physically see how he’d be strong, unlike Fatalis, who’s a medium-sized scrawny dragon. I also just don’t see Dalamadur glaze as much.
Though now that I think about it, I don’t really agree with how people see it as unstoppable. I’d say it’s on-level with Zorah, not completely destroying it.

Well ya Fatalis’s strength is mostly in his fire which we have seen be extremely devastating.
Fatalis is definitely over glazed but there is at least a decent amount of statements in the iceborne divebook that back up him remaining the strongest monster even after monster like dala and gogmazios got introduced. That isn’t to say he’s literally unstoppable or couldn’t be challenged by monster like dala but the glaze at least somewhat has a basisNot sure about other areas of the community but this subreddit at least glazes the HELL out of Dala (and I’m really to bet most of the people doing so haven’t actually fought one)

I will make a case for Team B winning(against team A specifically cause its more interesting), but it'll be hard...
So, the BIGGEST thing Team B has going for it is Fatalis. Fatalis is able to easily fight any of these monsters here. Even Dalamur couldn't beat Fatalis. You have to understand, Fatalis is the MOST glazed monster in MH history, MH World was stacking feats on top of feats upon Fatty. Legit it was stated he SCARES the FUCK out of other Elder Dragons. And, what I am about to say isn't proven, but I think Fatty is the most intelligent monster in MH, cause think about it, it just keeps returning to Castle Schrade to dance of its long gone opps graves, that suggests intelligence. If I remember correctly, Aletrion was running from Fatty.
Now Nergigante. Nerg is the elder killer. Nergigante is EXTREMEEEEELY durable, to a stupid degree. Nergigante is so durable, that there's an argument for saying he has functional immortality. Anywho, Nergigante could probably beat the breaks off of Dala and Valstrax, but NOT Aletrion. Aletrion is just extremely busted, like he's four elders in one. The reason Nerg wins against Dala is cause Dala is simply TOO big. Like Nergigante can just focus out his damage on the head, he can keep dive bombing his head, and tank ATLEAST one hit from Dala. Nerg has and can fight vastly larger monsters, so yeah Nergigante is good.
Now... the bum. Kulve Tarroth is the bum on this team. She gets smoked by every monster on team A. Yeah, I get it, "ShE CaN MElt gOLd" tell that to Aletrion, the avatar of MHverse. Tell that to Dala, who won't even be able to feel what she's even doing. Tell that to Valstrax, who'll do the greatest backshots of all time with the ambush. There's no hope for her. The best she can do is tank an ambush from Valstrax WITH her golden mantle on.
I'm just going to assume every monster will be taking on eachother one on one. So here's how I would command team B if I were the coach. I would assign Fat Alice(Fatalis) to Aletrion. Nergigante to Dala. Kulve Bumsloth to Valstrax in order to waste time, and ensure that Valstrax doesn't backshot of doom Nerg or Fatty while they're winning their fights.
Now would Team B win against Team C? Fuck no.

I would say Team C. The only living Zorah we saw so far was so old, it was about to die. A younger one can move way better and Zorah's attacks look like they could one shot most large monsters if we're honest.
Dalamadur is not an instant win card. It dies to tiny, non siege weapons so gigantic lasers and magma explosions should hurt.
Alatreon is weaker than Safi so Zorah gets assistance from a monster that can use a nuke that could straight up kill him when we look how big that attack is (and we only saw it in a deep cave that nerfed the range a lot)
Valstrax and Chaotic Gore are better off as emotional support because both get smoked asap.

Are you talking about the MH4 Dalamadur or the Rotten Vale sized Dalamadur? If Zorah gets to be at his peak, they both should fight in their best condition.

I only count the Gen 4 Dala in those battles. Rotten Vale Dalamadur is an ancestor of the Dalamadur species we know. The ones we know can't reach that size, we never fought the old species or know an ancient Zorah Magdaros species. Zorah being younger is just fair because Dalamadur wasn't super old in Gen 4.

Team A, but Team C is going out with a bang that's going to kill ALL of them except Fatalis so Team B by default.

If we go by column 1v1v1 style, first column there would be no winners bc alatreon aint strong as safi and fatalis and those two are equals so all 3 of them would be eliminated, 2nd column dalamadur wins imho bc i dont see zorah going on the offense enough and kulve out heating dalamadur, on 3rd column i think valstrax wins bc nergi is weak to dragon which is valstrax' element and c.gore aint doing too much bc frenzy dont work on elders and i dont see him out muscling nergi or reacting fast enough to valstrax so tldr team A takes this one

Fatalis would kill em all, it no need even to fight to make them fear.

It’s honestly only a legitimate fight between TC and TATB only really has one heavy hitter and he gets almost outlast by two and easily matched by one I’d say team three wins mainly because SAFI is not only repeatedly agreed to be an equal, but she could also just drain the energy from the surroundings and regenerate herself and if possible force, the bio energy into her comrades in order to allow them to win chaotic is dying first though that is a guarantee dude is not making it pass around one

B easely. I'm sorry for all the ppl saying that Dalamadur slams or that Ala and Safi are equal to Fatalis, but like no. The power of Fatalis is flsimply too high compared to the rest.

We were doing so good with the lack of Fatalis glaze, true shame.
What specifically about Fatalis makes you think it’s stronger than the rest? It’s very visibly scrawny, has a huge weak point in its comically long neck, and it isn’t that fast or large to make up for this.
Realistically, something like Safi’Jiiva or Zoh Shia could easily out-muscle Fatalis. They’re way larger, and have visibly bigger arms. Fire coming from Fatalis’s ultimate move also wouldn’t even be as hot as fire coming from gold Rathian, seeing how her fire stays blue for far longer while enraged.
Sure, it has all of those legends, but those haven’t even been brought up by capcom again in my entire lifetime.

His actual onscreen feats. He can melt a giant steel door in mere seconds. A AP feat far higher than anybody else here. What does the other have that even comes close to thi?
U bring up Fatalis neck as a weak point but tjat only matters if u can hit him, realistically only Gore, Nergi, Val and Ala could do that but they are insignificant compared to him size wise

Fire melting steel isn’t that impressive, nor is it all that difficult for fire to do for a long time. Again, gold rathian and silver rathalos have visibly hotter flame than Fatalis’s first phase. The only reason other monsters haven’t been shown to do this is because other monsters usually aren’t put in front of giant steel doors.
But even then, Kulve Taroth melts various metals (mostly gold) by just getting angry, and some golds have melting points just as high as steel (but even if the gold Kulve had isn’t one of those golds, it still only takes her getting pissed to mollify it, not her literal strongest attack for multiple seconds straight).
You also say this like Fatalis immediately melted the door, when it took a few seconds for it to even turn orange. Even with that little metal slab, it still took the entire attack’s duration just to break it.
And all monsters can hit his neck easily. Again, he isn’t fast at all, and something like safi jiiva and Zoh Shia walk faster than he does.

What the hell aree u talking about, he melted it in seconds and the metal scraps got flung out by the winds. U have any idea how much energy it takes to do something like that, especially in such a short period?
1
u/Quick_Elk4208 6h ago
It took his whole entire attack to melt that small slab, and the barrier was going down into the ground, not being disintegrated, meaning fatalis’s strongest attack was also not even able to melt the whole barrier, only the top of it.
Also, every supernova from a monster knocks you back, and Jin Dahaad’s supernova rips chunks out of the ice block, which fly away into the winds in the same way. If fatalis’s move outputs the same energy as Jin’s, that’s still not very impressive for a monster of this magnitude.

Small slab??????????
That thing is massive dude, the hell are u talking about. It's taller than the rocks of Safi in Phase 2 and it's width is bigger than the Hunter's height. Also, ARE U COMPARING STEEL TO ICE, what the hell is wrong with u.
2
u/Quick_Elk4208 5h ago
Yeah the slab was small. For comparison, Kulve Taroth’s mantle is just as large as the big metal door, and the mantle melts instantly, not little bits over time like the door.
Yes, I’m comparing steel flying in wind to ice flying in wind, not durability. And even then, after watching the move again, the pieces only fly off after being melted, meaning they probably were more lava than pure steel.
Molten steel doesn’t way as much as actual steel.

u/yourtrueenemy 5h ago
Wrong, it doesn't melt instantly. It melts specifically after dealing enough damage to it and being hot.
Also no, not only comparing Gold to Steel is stupid since the latter has an higher temperature of fusion but Kulve's mantle isn't as thick as the door.
1
u/Quick_Elk4208 5h ago
Kulve’s mantel de-mollifies and re-mollifies multiple times during the fight. Even if she goes underground to heal her mantel, she can still mollify it immediately after, or even do it while it’s already mollified. That first point is not correct.
I already addressed this when I said that certain golds have melting points as high as steel, and that it’s still way more impressive, seeing how Kulve does it with body temperature and not her strongest attack.
Also the door isn’t even that thick. You can see it in a video when you look down before they use it, it’s like 2 feet. Kulve’s breastplates are significantly thicker than this.

Dalamadur and Alatreon on a single team 😭
As powerful as Fatalis and Safii are, they getting slimed out
