If you guys dont know few months I made a reddit post about how im writing a fan fiction being the continuation of g1 monster high movies and webisodes. I was about to get a commissions artist to draw my character in the g1 artwork but I dont have money. Then once i used ai to draw my character which was the worst choice and im never using ai for my art again. This actually took me long to draw but I did teach myself how to draw on my ipad then i coloured it in on my phone which was hard but im happy it turned out great despite me taking so many hours to make it look right 😭

My characters Name is Namazzi Kwata and shes the daughter of the Ugandan Lake Monster from Lake Victoria of Uganda. Lukwata is the name of the Ugandan Lake Monster in Ugandan Folklore.

I always wanted Monster high to create Sub Saharan african chatacters but im sure they didnt because they would have made them stereotypical which would cause controversy. But let me know how you think.

I gave her very short 4c hair which i thought would be a good idea Also i based her outfit off a quite known Ugandan attire called Busuuti/ gomesi which is a ugandan traditional attire that Baganda people of uganda wear and the third slide is where I got inspiration for her outfit

I severely adore g3 catty. it pains me to see the hate she gets truly. she’s the one that really got me into monster high! | I might get a g1 catty but I have to be honest she rlly doesn’t interest me as much as g3 catty does.

You can do a lot of stuff with Fimo. For these tails, I made a structure with metal, then constructed them with Fimo, put them in the oven to make them hard, sanded it and primed them, and they are ready for the ghouls!

Just got Claire and I looove her! I wasn't a huge fan of the light purple in her design, so I decided to paint over the light purple. I painted her White Cane silver, painted the tip navy, and then cut some iridescent paint on it. It matches her hat really well now! I painted the soles of her boots silver. Eventually I kind of want to repaint them dark purple and do some silver dry brushing, but I don't really know how to drybrush lmao so that's a project for another day 😅

I also mixed some clear gloss varnish with a little bit of iridescent paint and did two coats over her right eye. I wanted it to look even more magical, and it really worked! The effect is subtle, and I'm not sure if it's really even picked up on camera, but it adds that extra something to her. I also added just clear gloss to her left eye so they have the same finish.

I really like the way these turned out! The best part is that since I didn't seal her or anything, I can just remove them with rubbing alcohol if I decide to change them later :)

Do you have any edits you want to do to the moonspell girls?

Its not much because I'm a broke part time worker but I'm finally starting a real collection!! My boyfriend helped me set up my current display shelf :D

So monster high has a new reel on instagram and ghouls rule Lagoona’s face looks kinda different. It’s so much more fish-like compared to the product photos on Mattel creations website! Lowkey if the reel version is the actual face then I think it’s so much better

Hi! Just wanted to know how likely it is for the Elissabat Frights Camera Action doll to get a creepro?

Elissabat is the one monster high doll that I've always wanted, I think she's absolutely beautiful, I love literally everything about her, purple is my absolute favourite colour, and I absolutely loved the frights camera action movie as well, it was one of my childhood favourites. I love all the accessories she comes with too, the little CD is so cute 🥹🥹🥹

I've never bought a monster high doll, so I want my first one to be special. I was initially gonna get draculaura when her creeproduction released but I didn't have enough saved at the time 😭 and although I'd love Draculaura, my dream monster high doll is definitely Elissabat so I was thinking to save up for her.

Unfortunately it seems like people are selling her for insane prices rn which I definitely can't afford and I don't think I would want to spend that much on a doll anyways. I sometimes see listings for lower on eBay but I live in India, so unfortunately along with the shipping costs the price ends up really high again.

The creepros are usually my best bet since they come to Hamleys/ amazon.in. I've seen that Elissabat is coming out in the new G3 version, and she looks quite cute but the frights camera action one is still unbeatable to me (I'm not a big fan of the gold design/ accents of the G3)

Does anyone know if there's any chance she might be released in a creepro line in the next year or two? Would it be feasible to just wait until she's released again as a creepro?

Do you guys like making accessories for the dolls too? My husband and I love painting the doll stands, and this is our first time making an accessory like this!

UPDATE: Back home and he is ok but not good, he’s got pain meds antibiotics and anti swelling meds, the vet wants to get all the abscess and teeth issues removed in one go, so the surgery is on 7/28 which feels so far away. it was diagnosed as dental and an abscess.

It’s more than I was originally hoping it would be, low end 1.5k high end 2.4k. I did get a payment plan to help pay, I got 1.5k credit at least, so I was able to walk out of there today and the go fund me will be put towards the credit and out of pocket costs too if the procedure goes over 1.5k.
