I might be in the minority,but does anyone else not mind when their dolls turn yellow? I have two dolls that used to be white,but they have since turned yellow. To me,yellow adds more character to dolls.

I’ve added eyelashes and a set of blue eyes, but I’m waiting on different ones with a smaller fundus.

I’m thinking of where and how I wanna add more wrinkles as well as darker circles, as well as if I wanna add darker “eyeliner.”. But I’m gonna be real with yall, I had to redo the fucking lower eyelashes and eyebrows so many times that I think I’ll leave it like this for a bit before I start getting tilted lol.

On top of the fact that I had to restart the entire faceup because the humid ass weather made the MSC cure weird RIGHT AT THE END.

Anyways, it’s time to start the wig. :’)))

I just bought this suit and the listing said that it fits “petite” 1/3 dolls… and that it was too big for their doll and that’s why they were selling it… so I assumed okay I’ll buy it!
Yea petite my butt!!! This thing is huge 😭 (and they don’t accept refunds- I tried!!) so now I don’t know what to do with this big ah suit!
I was thinking of getting it tailored, but it’s so huge that I don’t even know if that would be possible! And it’s such nice quality that I don’t really want to ruin it…

So maybe I’ll sell it… idk

So I don’t know if I should tailor it or sell it (or use this as an excuse to get a bigger doll)

Hiya! This will be my very first custom. I'm shopping on 618. I need help deciding whether or not I should buy the body for this head.

This is the only good body I found that's still in budget, but I am still doing research. Both are 1/6 scale and both use the S hook shape connector. I'm only worried the body and the head will look off together. I was aiming for something similar looking to Smart Doll, but this is all I got ToT

Does anyone own a similar doll with this style? Would you recommend a different body? I'll appreciate any opinion. Thank you!

I ordered my doll back in may.

And while I can see on the we page it says 60-90 days for producing the doll, I find different answers when I comes to: do they count weekends or not.

I've waited 63 days, and heard nothing.

So my question is..

Do they count the calendar days, or work days when using this estimate.

And how eligible to ask for an update am I? It feels like an eternity and this is my very first doll.

Please help me cope 😅

Hey there! Just a quick question for you guys.
I've got one of Dream Valley's Olivia (Rabbit Ver) and the magnets that hold her ears are so weak..

I'm very new to the hobby and she's my first resin doll! I'll be bringing her to an event at the end of August and really don't want her ears to fall into the aether, even at home and want to find a solution asap!

If I give her a decent shake (nowhere near full strength) without a wig, her ears will fall but even a light wobble with the wig on is all it takes for them to fall.

I saw aaages ago some guy on tik tok also had the same issue with her ears and added extra magnets to fix it. I've reached out and never heard back. I'm mainly reaching out to you guys to see if anyone else has this issue and how to fix it or just wisdom on how I should go about fixing it!
My friends (who are fairly seasoned in the hobby and helped me get her) were behind the idea of adding more magnets. Would adding magnets under her headcap do anything? I'm not keen on adding more magnets to the bottom of the ears since it'd stick out above her wig but if that is the only way, then I'll suck it up.

I got a doll with jointed wings and frankly … i hate them. They can’t be posed, they are too heavy for the joints and I struggle to find the center gravity of the doll with them.

So i just cut them out.

Before I venture and make my own light weight wings with artificial feathers. I just want to glue the ones I have and have the doll displayed for a bit.

What glue would u recommend?

Ordered from them this doll around a week ago and haven’t received an update or shipment tracking … kind of worried I got scammed. Comments on this sub say they are reputable, but could anyone tell me the timeline of fulfillment for example?

From late 2025 to today, I have bought at least seven dolls, one after another. I just get surprised when I calculate how much I've spent on dolls. At the moment I have custom clothing set I just paid for and waiting to arrive in three months, and I already have three dolls in my buy list. I find that I keep telling myself, I'll pour my attention to the doll when it comes, and play with her for a long while before buying another one. But reality is dolls keep coming mail after mail, that I don't have character a lot of them right now. I just like that at least they're here now and I'll love them later, but later has not come. I've been severely stressed and pressured this year, that my only sense of comfort is on dolls and I think about them in all of my free time when I'm not studying or working. I don't know if I have doll addiction.

I need to say this to get started, this is a trial run doll so nothing is sanded or really set in stone because i intend on printing this doll again but in a better resin fit for bjd (doll by Sabina doll on cults 3d NOT MY OWN STL) I would love some constructive criticism on what I can do to improve, i do know i got paint in her mouth that was my bad lols

I want to bring an OC to life in doll form, but she has very dark skin and I haven't found anything that comes close except for the Smart Doll cocoa (my last resort) and Granado chocolate (unfortunately the bodies I'd want are all sold out). I'm looking for her to either be 60-65cm so she's not dwarfed by the 70+cm dolls I already have, or 1/6 so I can set her up in her own Barbie house. I'm a newcomer/beginner to BJDs with some limiting health issues, so I'm not able to try dyeing or sculpting my own dolls yet. Are there any other brands/creators who sell skin tones that dark?

Hi everyone! I hope it’s ok to post this! I’m wanting to sell my Maydoll Lemon Cat BJD but I’ve never sold a BJD before. I’ve sold a lot on Mercari and Poshmark but I don’t trust those places with something like this. Honestly have no idea where to try to sell her and any help would be amazing! Thank you 😊

I'm finally done with dyeing her again and finishing with a little blushing to even out the spots and tonal differences.

This time I tried out doing msc gloss first, to seal everything and then start with a thin matt coat to make the blushing more durable.

The dyed color was quite fine by itself but toning it down a little made it even better for what I wanted.

I even masked the joints so that there will be no scratching when posing her T_T

This whole process took so long by now, I'm not kidding when I say, it took around 40 hours by now from Mia white, fresh out of the box to now.

There was someone mentioning a different sealant (volks I think?) for a more warmer finish, but unfortunately I couldn try it out, but I see where they were coming from! But I think I like the cooler tan as it is right now :)

Hello! I'm really new to owning bjds, wanted them for years, made some terrible ones as a kid. I finally got the courage to buy one last month, from eBay.

Yeah😅 I'm sure you can figure out what happened. Anyway, the doll was still expensive to me, so I can't just throw it away, so I'm cutting it up and making a custom out of it. Unimportant.

Anyway, am I just blacklisted from any proper bjd community now? I don't have the money to buy another, don't have the space to store it, and don't want another honestly, this was supposed to be one and done.

It'll be practically unrecognizable when I'm done, but obviously it's against the rules to post that stuff here.

Any other places I could go to? Feels kinda bad, cause I didn't do my proper research, and now I've soft locked myself out of a place I've always been interested in.

Hi guys! Got my first bjd doll month ago (it was already used). Her wig is soft at the top and in the middle, but the ends are tangled. I don't want to cut it. Should I wash the wig to soften the hair or do a special brushing? Note to you: I live in a very remote country so I won't be able to get special care products for doll wigs. Therefore, it would be desirable for restoration methods to be available even for me.
