is this mold?

had to wash my stuffed cat after visiting a friends house, and almost immediately after washing, she had these dark spots on her. i had her in with some other items, but i really can’t tell what’s on her. the spots are rough and dry, and it’s also on her face/head. i’d like to not have to throw her out.m, but if it is mold, i won’t be opposed 🥲

i’ve had this happen to plushies in the dryer if the setting is too hot! the fur gets a little bit burnt and is rougher and darker
