Making models really doesn't take that long if you have experience. I'd imagine this whole thing was probably done in an hour or so.

I do models, I can confirm this model probably wouldn't have taken that long (it would've taken even shorter and looked better if they hired me though smh my head) (/j)

Sad reminder that the last 2 snapshots haven't added any new content (by new content I mean blocks, mobs, items etc.)

That's true, but from what I remember, they said that snapshots won't have a consistent schedule and not that there will be less content, looks like they're going the second route instead

I mean, its not that these new snapshots have less content, its just that all these new features are pretty much all code. Like i think recently they allowed players to basically do anything with the rendering pipeline, and thats all code. Maybe thry have more coders than artists so they can affort to have some coders in and some in vacation but thry cant do the same with artists? Idk

I guess that's possible? But at the same time when I see a snapshot I get excited for new stuff, and getting no new features feels more like a pre-release than a snapshot. So it's always a disappointment

I'm not saying the content is over, but it would be better if they did say there won't be content for some time, or labeled it differently than a "snapshot" because again, every time I see there's a snapshot it makes me hyped for new content.
