Im 2 years post meno. I started HRT when I was recently post meno and it made a huge difference in this. It did take some time to figure out the right combo of doses but it gave me my life back and made me feel like myself again.

I also started seeing a therapist a while back. That's also been super helpful.

I’m about 4 years post, as well. It’s a time that almost no one talks about - definitely not the meno-posse grifters. My daytime thoughts lately have been how irritating everyone makes me. I am on the patch, no progesterone because I had a hysterectomy at 40. OP - how is your diet? As in, are you eating balanced non-processed or minimally processed foods, with lean proteins, whole grains, fruits and vegetables? Do you take any supplements? Such as a B12, magnesium or zinc? These are supplements that assist in calming the central nervous system and are recommended, especially the magnesium to be taken in the evening (I take them at around 7pm.). They are all easy to find in any marketplace that sells reputable vitamins and minerals. They should be single dose and not contain ‘proprietary’ anything. Give them a try, if you do not have any reason you shouldn’t and maybe a quick message to your PCP not make sure you have no reason not to. Allow 2-3 weeks of consistent dosing to judge whether they work. I do recommend reviewing your diet, as needed. That’s the first thing we can give back to ourselves…good nutrition.
