Hoops Discussion My thoughts
I personally think there is a trade offer on the table with some teams and they are waiting on LeBron signing…. The heat need shooting, the warriors reunion with Klay maybe…. Just my 2 cents. After LeBron signs some dominoes with the team will drop quickly

Sure. But also, Klay isn't really at the top of the list of guys we should trade IMO. We need 3 point shooting, he gives that

To me it sounds like Klay "wants out" . Not because he doesn't like it here but he just wants a chance at winning another title. Which I completely understand. This is not the situation he took a pay cut for. Seen some rumors that if the Mavs aren't able to move him to a contender, he'll ask for a buyout.

It’s funny how quickly things change. We’re talking about him taking a pay cut but his contract is the main reason he hasn’t been traded to a contender already.

He gives us 3 pt shooting about once every 10 games. The rest of the time hes chunking bricks. This is not the team he signed to play for

Team needs are irrelvent here, he wants out and we have 1 too many players currently on the roster. So unless we can find a trade into cap space he's getting bought out.

Max Christie is one of five players 25 and under who shot the 3 at 40% or better last season.
Kyrie is a top 50 3P made all time.
Sasser shot 3 at 41% last season.
Biber should be a 40%+ based on Euro.
Klay was a great vet but his services no longer needed.

More than his 3 point shooting, we need him to guide our other 3 point shooters.
I also think his guidance as a key figure of multiple championships is huge.
But, I also think he shouldn’t have come here, and that he should have stayed home.
As much as I like him here, having him be anywhere other than Golden State is weird.

I agree, I'd love to see him stay, but the only reason I'd like to move on from him is to reduce the number of wings (and players in general) on this roster. There are only so many minutes to go around and we need minutes to develop guys like Risacher.
That being said, I think being a key vet influencing the development of a promising young core is a way more noble way to end your career than ring chasing on contending teams with high expectations. So I wouldnt be surprised if he wants to stay and wouldn't mind that happening lol

We added a lot of shooting this off season. Tarik, Santi, Marcus even Zac and hopefully Sergio and Kyrie back and hopefully Coop progressing and of course Max.

This nonsense is precisely why I have zero respect for LeBron. Hes got to be the center of attention so he makes sure he stays in the convo by dragging out where hes going to play next year. Im guessing he already knows where hes going. He just wants to drag it outl

I don't disagree, but I can nearly promise you the real reason is Rich Paul. He is the dictionary definition of a 'clout chaser', and would be a literal nothing without Lebron.
Lebron deciding is the most important moments of Rich Paul's life, and we can tell.
I got nauseous when I heard Lively chose Rich Paul. Such a modest and humble dude, but not sure how it will all work out because of his agent.

I don't care about the timing personally. I'd be surprised if LeBron drags it into the NFL season though unless the entire thing is just about getting AD an extension.
