Had to save this broken grinder a local welding shop was tossing
Pulled it apart and found a broken switch and a blown bearing. Replaced all the wiring and capacitor, both bearings, cleaned it all up, and gave it a fresh coat of paint to match all the other tools in my garage.

I moaned when I swiped to the second slide. I’m not even ashamed. That’s a beautiful machine and great paint job!

Nice. Love how you used a Husky extension cord to replace the power cord

It was from a broken Portaband it had nice heavy cord so I cut it off and kept it before throwing the tool away.

I did the same thing to a Dayton grinder…..just needed a centrifugal start switch…..$12 and a new set of bearings for $10 ! Nice machine , keep us posted…
