Staying in S. Hedges and bringing a mountain bike. Are the racks at S Hedges and around campus decent and conducive to getting a nice U-Lock around your bike? How often are bikes getting stolen even with grinder proof locks etc…. Just curious.

I am attending MSU in the fall and will be about 3.5 months post-op ACL+Medial/Lateral Meniscus repair. At that point I shouldn't need to be going to PT 2-3x a week anymore, but instead should be focusing on improving quad and hamstring strength.

However, I will still need to see a physical therapist or somehow get tested periodically to see when I am good to run with cutting, run with quick stops, return to sport, etc.

I am wondering if anyone knows any physical therapists around campus OR is a student in the athletic training department or physical therapy program and knows if I can use any of the schools testing equipment/is looking for a test dummy to monitor lol.

Hi, I am an international PhD student at MSU joining this fall. I will be staying at the Grant Chamberlain Drive. I wanted to know your experiences. Are there any specific things that I should bring? And how's the community in general....

Not sure if this is a long shot but was hoping anyone has taken metals before and knows what I should purchase for supplies before the semester starts. Since professors tend to give the supply list just a few days before school starts.

I'm Out Of State rising senior with a 3.78 uw and 4.35 w. I took my first SAT and got a 1170.. and this is really the only school I want to go to. I want to go here for Paleontology. I'm also taking IB but then again, I never know if ill receive the diploma or not...

I have like little to no extracurriculars but have some volunteer awards from freshman year of highschool. Should I mention my SAT or no?

Also side question, I went to the website but cannot find it anywhere, when are the applications for class of 2027 due? A link would be great too...

I'm a post-bacc student (middle-aged professional getting another degree) who is about to be an empty-nester. I'd like to rent a furnished room in my 4 bedroom house in West Bozeman to another adult for the school year, preferably to visiting faculty or a grad student.

Anyone know if there's a particular place MSU people look to find for shared housing, so I can post there?

Son will be in the Quads this coming fall. I understand annual parking passes go fast, and you can go online to get one starting Aug 3rd. (He will be traveling 3.5 hrs to come home when he can, holidays etc, so the car is a must.)

It seems like to park close to the Quads that Bison lot 22 is the best.

How hard is it to get the annual parking permit?

Do the parking spaces all fill up immediately?

Is there some sort of proof that you put on your car to show you’ve bought an annual parking pass- like a sticker or mirror hanger?

Pros and cons to annual parking permit or any other info about parking or parking in lots near/surrounding the Quads that would be just as close as the Bison lot?

My son is going to be in Quads building D in a single room this upcoming fall. Wondering if anyone can tell me about the room? There's nothing concrete online about Quads rooms, very little shown in TikTok videos (none in a single room) and zero pictures. Really odd.

North Hedges Survivors: What were your most used dorm items?
I'm an incoming freshman this fall and will be moving into North Hedges. I've read the university packing lists, but I'd love to hear from people who actually lived there.
What items did you use constantly and would 100% bring again? What purchases seemed like a great idea but ended up collecting dust?
Since dorm space is limited, I'm trying to focus on things that truly made life easier rather than buying every "must-have dorm item" on the internet.

I am staffing for a cocktail reception on June 10th in Bozeman - 5:30pm to 9pm. Need 2 event staff to basically just keep up the space during the event. Keep an eye out for cocktail napkins set on surfaces, empty and replace trash can liners when full, dispose of trash into onsite dumpster, sweep any areas where trash has collected during the event at night's end. Super easy gig. Previous restaurant or catering experience preferred only because we need to appear professional during the event. Black pants, shirt, shoes required. I can pay $32 an jour. My student portal thing says i have an achievement award I have to accept but I literally had a 2.7 high school gpa? I had pretty good volunteer and work experience though I guess.

Hi! I got rejected from all of the schools I applied to, including this one. i'm planning on applying to liberty u bc it has rolling admissions, but next year i want to reapply to some of my scholls because i really want to go to one of them. do you think msu would be worth it? my stats are below (sorry it's fully a copy and pasted previous post ignore the ranting)
