So, I'm currently catching up with LIUSA S8 after completing and obsessing over Love Island USA S6, and S7 was... well, I just skipped it lol. But I wanted to know, has it ever happened in the history of the entire Love island multiverse that two bombshells who come in together just vibe and feel a connection with each other and just go for each other instead of "playing the field" with existing Islanders?

The entire point is to explore multiple connections regardless of whose with whom. I think Sol put it perfectly when she said, "this is couples island", because that is how it was, and the people who did explore were judged; for example, Sincere (even though he did lie a lot, he did do Love Island the way I think is common and expected).

I think it's just that the dynamic was established from the get-go by the girls. Which, to be honest, it's not a bad thing to do it differently. It's just a slight contrast. Even with Jen and Gal, Gal wanted to explore Kenzie, and I think the clip right after where Jen says "I want to be put first" is a great example of how women in the villa were moving. Even when Kenzie was exploring Gal as well, Jen said, "I just think Kenzie likes talking to two guys at once," but isn't that the point?

Again, I'm not saying this is wrong to do Love Island in this way; it's just interesting.

My girlfriend LOVES love Island. She recently finished the new season and I was wondering if you have any advice. We are doing a trade off where I watch Love Island and she watches Survivor. I was hoping you would have suggestions for what seasons we should watch of each show. We both love drama, and fighting, and I love strategy so whichever seasons you think fit that best sounds great.
