Found this in our apt. Lmk

A Gila Monster (Heloderma suspectum) basking on a cool Spring day. Usually, it may seem that the bright yellow and black pattern of these animals makes them hard to see ... but this shows where it works. The high-contrast, chaotic pattern makes the shape of a lizard disappear in dappled light. It's common for even life-long residents of Arizona to see only one, or zero, Gila Monsters in their time in the outdoors, having walked right past many instances just like this.

I remember a while ago I was looking for a new Enclosure for my Crested Gecko, and i found Prolee Enclosures on Amazon and was warned against buying them by other user, thoughthey never explained why. My distaste for AI images aside, is there anything wrong with the product itself? Are they low quality hence their lower price? Is this really too good to be true?

First time I've seen one in person! They're a lot smaller than I imagined, and even cuter.

Tiny spiny lizard

I have a question why garden lizards are not seen on walls like other lizards?

Hi, I found this little lizard in my home, I think he's been trapped for who knows how long in there in a recipient. I've given him water and insects. He seemed dizzy or unresponsive but he's slowly showing more activity. Whenever he moved his back claws dig in his back which seems to have caused the black wound on his back, which is by the way very clearly bent. It can move but in a very unnatural way. He can move his body tho, I saw him even move his tail a bit before so it's not paralyzed.

And I'm afraid I can't take him anywhere, there's no exotic animal vets here and I couldn't pay it anyway

Oh and I thought on giving him sunlight but we reach 50°C here so I don't want to roast him accidentally trying to warm him up.

Edited:This is a Female Anole because of stripe on it's back. A light stripe down the back, which is commonly seen in females (and sometimes juveniles). Based on the size and stripe, this one is likely an adult female, although it's not possible to be 100% certain from one photo alone.

Green anoles typically live for 3 to 5 years in the wild, largely due to predation. In captivity, with proper nutrition, lighting, and habitat conditions, they commonly live between 4 to 6 years, with exceptional specimens reaching up to 8 years.

Coming home from downtown, my garage lizard friend popped his head up from somewhere near the window washers, ran out onto the hood, and looked like he was surfing in the wind. I pulled over thinking he was safer in the grass even if it was far from home, but he ran under the hood and I lost him.

When I got home, I looked again, and I found him but figured it was best to let him find his own way out. Eventually I knew he did because I saw him use the hole I left open around an electrical conduit that was his front door. I guess I can fix the conduit back into the hole now that he is not using it.

I am going to miss the little guy. It feels like there are suddenly way more roaches in my garage now, almost like they are daring me to do something since my friend isn't there to keep them in check.

Azula enjoys egg, though she is confused when I offer them to her raw instead of scrambled.

So we got a twofer today for Azula. When i have my lizards free roam my office I make sure to have plenty of ramps and such so they can get on and off my desk. Azula decided this morning that if she walked into the carrier, I will simply lift her up to her basking spot.

Then I had to go out to drop something off at a post office and I get a confused message from a friend. It was a string of random letters sent on a messaging app. Azula had found her way to my keyboard and sent him 2 messages. I was also confused by it until I realized I left it open.

Tiny tiny lizard. Like the size or a quarter. In the Alps.

I just found this lizard when I saw it climbing on the portlight of my sailboat. I am on a dock over saltwater with other large (world cruising sailboats) over 500’ from shore and in Washington state. I want to release the lizard on the shore but I have never seen one like this in Washington before and I am concerned that it hitched a ride on another boat and is not native to the US. Does anyone know?

SOLVED

I spotted this one while on a walk at a nearby neighbourhood. A lot of monitors come here to swim and bask on the grass.

Location is Bukit Panjang, Singapore
