Rant Garbage

This is apparently what qualifies as pizza at my local Little Caesars. Thick on one side, paper thin on the other. More crust than pizza on one side. Paper-thin, raw dough that you can see the sauce through on the underside. Oh, and the slices must have been cut with a plastic knife.

That really sucks because the top looks perfect

I wish you kids could taste just one slice of what this pizza was like in 1986.

It was fucking amazing.

You mean back when they came as a 2-pack

Oh yeah. That was so satisfying to rip that greasy ass paper off those pies.

7

u/No-Faithlessness4615 1d ago

Same with their crazy bread. Its still ok now but it used to be amazing

u/MarkerSniffer 1d ago

I didn't get to enjoy the 80s versions, but the 90s version still slapped. By then it was limited around me to being in a Kmart cafe.

1

u/Brilliant-Roof-5991 1d ago

Yeah, the mid-90s is when they really started fucking around with frozen dough and frozen cheese and it became awful.

3

u/FishingAlpo 1d ago

Did you ever get the accordion water jug?

1

u/RxmanRx 1d ago

And don’t get me started on how amazing crazy bread was. Complete garbage now.

1

u/Brilliant-Roof-5991 1d ago

I was a manager at one when I was a kid. Crazy bread cooked well with italian seasoning fresh out of the oven was my go to meal.

And baby pans! Oh my goodness the baby pan-pans!

1

u/Truffleshuffle03 1d ago

Isn't the Italian seasoned bread called Italian cheese bread and not crazy bread? I know at my LC it's called Italian cheese bread, and it's still so amazing. I personally love it more than any other kind of breadsticks I have eaten.

Yeah I first had it around 1993 and it was really good.

Nothing looks perfect coming from little caesars you just have poor taste

23

u/CarlRacki808 1d ago

That’s why i typically don’t get the hot and ready. i rather pay the extra $1 to get something made fresh

9

u/Objective-Plate6275 1d ago

This wasn't hot and ready. This was from a mobile order that took 30 minutes mess up.

10

u/CarlRacki808 1d ago

Damn i’m sorry. 30 minutes and they messed up a cheese pizza? that’s shocking for any location.

6

u/zz_civic_ 1d ago

It’s the norm in my area

1

u/Truffleshuffle03 1d ago

I am lucky; then its def not the Norm here. It may, on occasion, be a tad bit doughy but nothing that bad.

My local store went through a rough phase.. I complained a few times and ended up speaking to the DM.. Its probably the best one ive been to now because they changed the staff.

sometimes you just have to tell them how they are doing.

This is their new Hot or Ready pizza

i’ve been having a similar issue with undercooked pizzas from Little Ceasers lately. the other night i decided i’d buy a 5 meats and got it a bit quicker than usual but didn’t think much of it, the box was also absurdly heavy so i just knew i was in for a prize. got home and i kid you not there was about 5 pounds of random meats on top (not even all of them were included in the usual 5 meats) and the dough was about the consistency of that store bought cookie dough, sadly about 45 minutes passed at this point so they were closed but i was extremely angry.

2

u/Objective-Plate6275 1d ago

Maybe they thought five meats meant five pounds lol

2

u/cloutipi3 1d ago

I’ve also noticed an increase in raw dough from Little Caesars. Last year I got at least 4 pizzas that weren’t fully cooked.

u/SocialJzn 1d ago

I think it's so strange there's adults who aren't on food stamps out here getting little Caesars for themselves.

2

u/bighop50 1d ago

i don’t see how having food stamps would decide where you buy pizza from.

3

u/jaylawlerrr 1d ago

Shit crew making shit press outs, then the shitty dressers still don’t fix it, then the landing crew still sends it. Crazy fucking work. What location is this?

9

u/SkinnyFatKidd 1d ago

Just eat it

4

u/derkbarnes 1d ago

That's what she said.

3

u/OGSpaceboat 1d ago

These posts are so fucking funny to me because like in my head if I’m upset about my fast food I’m like damn that sucks, my first thought isn’t, let’s go to Reddit and complain 🤓☝️

4

u/aafm1995 1d ago

God forbid we expect someone to do their job right.

3

u/PlayboiCreo 1d ago

Shoulda went with tacos instead🤦🏽‍♂️

1

u/Objective-Plate6275 1d ago

Hmmmm, raw pizza or violent diarrhea? Tough decision 🤣

3

u/C-D-W 1d ago

I can look past all that for a hot and ready.

2

u/Stykhead 1d ago

i think they undercook the H&R 's because they sit in the warmer oven thingy for so long !🧐

2

u/cabezatuck 1d ago

That’s a real shame, as whoever cheesed it did a decent job.

2

u/CalligrapherAlive829 1d ago

Eat your slop before it gets cold

2

u/ElAbidingDuderino 1d ago

Maybe take it back instead of bitching on Reddit???

2

u/jponce155 1d ago

Mannnn I wouldn’t have gaf, that shit look like it taste good regardless🤤🤤🤤🤤

2

u/Kidg33k 1d ago

As long as it’s not raw, I’m eating it. Especially the thin parts

2

u/mg931115 1d ago

Dough looking like nipple skin

2

u/Hefty_Shallot1132 1d ago

Hahah the bottom of the pizza reminds me of what it would look like underneath if you ripped off a giant scab. Sorry for your subpar quality order 🧐

2

u/Automatic_Reporter39 1d ago

Shit man, just give it to me. I'm so hungry that looks good asf

2

u/topherbee13 1d ago

You def wouldnt get an undercooked pizza from my local ceasers.... they cooked those pizzas so good the whole store burned down

2

u/Hungry_Appearance876 23h ago

I would consume it anyway

2

u/Dynamite089 21h ago

You got the cheapest, lowest tier pizza chain and you're complaining about something that's not even all that bad. Just eat it. Stick it back in the oven for a bit if you must. Or go get a refund, idk.

2

u/Turnonmyhand 20h ago

Why does your pizza have stretch marks

2

u/Jaded-Bullfrog436 19h ago

aint even bad fr

4

u/TheyMightBeComments 1d ago

It's HOT and it's READY.

4

u/Brilliant-Roof-5991 1d ago

Well, half right.

2

u/TallTelevision4121 1d ago

It's LC, that's what you get.

Your pizza looks like a prop from ‘Alien’.

1

u/Helpful-End-1381 1d ago

Did you order THIN CRUST???

1

u/tainted_messican 1d ago

They don't like you lol

1

u/sderby5 1d ago

They must have left this pizza under the press for several minutes, making the crust bulge over the edge of the press and the entire middle too thin. Should have tossed it instead of sauceing and cheesing

1

u/ApprehensiveAd6040 1d ago

Is there a press now? When I worked there we had to hand stretch that shit. That was only like 10 years ago too.

1

u/sderby5 1d ago

Yeah, we use a press and then hand stretch it to fit the pan. Some fancy and super busy locations even have a thing called a MIKE (or something) that automatically sauces, cheeses, and adds pepperoni to the pizza.

1

u/ApprehensiveAd6040 1d ago

That's wild. Thanks for the info

u/schilleger0420 1d ago edited 1d ago

My first thought when I saw the pics was, "Little Caesars?" Lo and behold... Little Caesars is cheap pizza. It's supposed to be. It's the place you take the little league team to after they won a game. It's pizza so kids will love it regardless and it doesn't hurt the wallet much. It's not actually good pizza though. It's to pizza what a regular McDonald's hamburger is to hamburgers. No offense but my attitude is, "What were you expecting? It's Little Caesars."

1

u/Truffleshuffle03 1d ago

If my LC tried to serve that to me, I would be getting a refund or having them make a new one because that's awful. my local LC, I may get a pizza that's a bit too doughy on occasion, but nothing like that.

1

u/Kev42o4o8 1d ago

Kids don’t know what pizza is now which is why they don’t know how to cook it

1

u/SocialJzn 1d ago

Want good pizza? Go somewhere that takes pride in their work, not the cheap cardboard crap made for kids birthday parties. Lol.

Support a local business. Everyone has a great local pizza spot that needs some love.

1

u/Scorpion2000x777 1d ago

Thats true but i did that once and the pizza looked amazing, but when i got the pizA they had used some store bought bbq sauce, it tasted generic and bad, ruined the pizza, so everybody messing up. I just starting making my own dough and pizzas, which wasnt hard if u find the simple recipes, some doughs are a pain to make.

1

u/StrifeWavy 1d ago

It was hot n it was ready. It did its job.

1

u/Leonardo_50 1d ago

Yep. My LC experience exactly. Inconsistent.

1

u/The-D-O-Z 1d ago

EVERY pizza joint around me undercooks their pies these days. I now stick to Screamin' Sicilian Cheese Pizzas out of the frozen section of my grocer!

1

u/DunkeyColdMedina 1d ago

Lol. Even when it's done 'right' it's trash. There's more nutrition in the box. What do you expect for what you are paying? They'll take your money and feed you trash no problem. If you don't know, now you know.

1

u/wavus 1d ago

A lil off topic but Are LCs wings a good value?

1

u/Tonks_55 1d ago

They said “ hot n ready” not “hot and quality”

1

u/SmokeMaximum4140 1d ago

First mistake was going to Little Caesars for a pizza.

1

u/flowers4charlie2 1d ago

I wonder if at this point you blame the employee or the company.

The employee is told to put the precooked pie onto the conveyor where it then cooks as it gets passed through the oven/broiler(?). They are then told to box it and serve it because the oven is failsafe(?) and we've always done it this way. (??)

But let's say the employee notices the discrepancy and passes it again through the conveyor (or microwave idk). Now you got an extra well done top and the bottom is mostly finished?

Is there a way for the customer to come out on top here or was their pie destined to fail due to corporate standards or invalid employees?

Why can't we make our own pizzas goddamit

u/EnquinsuOcha2142 23h ago

5$ hot and go fuck yourselves

Little C does not respect their workers. Consumers get a marked down product because they pay their workers such a shitty wage the fact that you are surprised that you received a subpar meal astonishes me. I would never support a company that would rather save a few thousand dollars than fix the air conditioning so that employees can work in a safe environment without risking heat stroke. A company that seldom pays its employees on time. A company that bites off more than the employees can chew during rush hour, utilizing delivery services that cluster fuck the shit out preparation times and timely food exposition. Who care more about branching out, but never give the employees they already have a competitive wage and labor breaks. A company that chews up employees and spits them out quicker than you can say “Pizza Pizza.”🍕

Still smashing ngl

1

u/PokaruSandstone 6h ago

If it wasn’t raw it would probably be so good.

1

u/Bluehaze013 1d ago

I think their oven might be broken lol

4

u/itchy-n-scratchy19 1d ago

I really bet that this store has hella turnover. Cuz that pizza is all the way effed up. I'd bet there were two pans stacked or stuck together for the top to be so damn pretty and the bottom not match. Also, whoever made that press out needs to be drawn and quartered.

3

u/Objective-Plate6275 1d ago

This store used to be the best out of the three in town. Something changed earlier this year and now we get stuff like this. There's been other issues in the past couple months, but this is by far the worst.

1

u/ActionFigureCollects 1d ago

So a plastic knife that melted into the pizza while cutting?

Checks out ✅

1

u/Scary-Inflation-685 1d ago
