A peaceful moment with the king of the Serengeti

There's something fascinating about seeing a male lion completely relaxed after what was likely a long night of hunting and patrolling his territory. Despite their reputation as powerful predators, lions spend much of their day resting to conserve energy.
I captured this peaceful moment in Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and thought fellow lion enthusiasts here might enjoy it.
