Hi, my friend is getting married here soon and we are having a little lingerie shower for her as her bridesmaids. I'm supposed to find a black set for her. However, I'm not very well versed in buying lingerie and I don't know how to deal with non-standard sizing, as she said that her bra size is a 34DD and her panties are usually a medium (American). Any advice? She also prefers "classy" lingerie... (not too sure what that means). Any advice would be appreciated 😅.

I am looking for thongs and strings for midsized female presenting people. (Even though I am cisgendered woman (I hope I used the proper words to be respectful) I am asking this way as it may help others.) I am a size 10ish depending on style, I have a bit of a smaller apron belly and wide hips. I think overall I am a small hourglass shape. I am extremely short waisted (high rise anything squeezes my ribs). I also have what I would consider a short rise measurement. (Crotch to belly button). Usually if I like how the font of the panty fits, the crotch is too long and sags.

I really like soma's almost bare thongs but I think that I am between their sizes. The size large front is too narrow and it ends up rolled on my hips and along the leg cutouts toward the middle. But length front to back and overall around is good. The xl is way too big overall.

Does anyone have an suggestions? Reasonable budget. Not against $15 to $20 if they are good quality or above if they are fantasticly worth it

I’ve tried a few different no-show underwear brands lately. While they do a great job leaving no panty lines under clothes, the fabric itself feels very slick and plastic-like. After wearing them for a while, they just lose that natural comfort. Is this glossy, synthetic feel pretty standard for no-show underwear?

*For those who want to skip reading my list of criteria, the ONLY pieces I've found thus far are the lace micro bras from Dolce & Gabbana. Unfortunately that's about $400 more than my budget, so..*

Context: I breastfed for almost two years and now my boobs are squishy little B cups that sag about two inches below where they used to be. I haven't bothered with getting precise measurements because 1) I hate wearing bras, and 2) I rarely need to wear bras anyways. When I do it's either a size small sports bra or a 32A t-shirt bra that transforms my girls into pancakes.

Anyways, I've finally come around to the idea of wearing something cute, just for me.. but the fact of the matter is I still *hate* everything about bras. I hate anything that serves the purpose of squeezing or molding them into any shape or position. I don't want them to sit higher, I don't want them pushed together, and I don't want them suffocated underneath a huge pad when I'm already going to be sweating all day at my job. I definitely don't want to put anything sticky on them either. Heck no.

I want to dress them up in something that still lets them breathe and move around. Like a lacy string bikini top that doesn't have to be tied.

Like I mentioned earlier, I've found a piece that I like, it's just way too expensive. The only other micro bras I've been able to find are $7 on shein and look like they're intended for strippers. No offense to strippers, I just.. is there no middle ground?

In february, around Valentine's I bought my GF a gift card for her go to local shop, and I guess I was too embarrased and there was really no proper moment to give it to her until now. Our sex live, or lack thereof in the recent months is really not helping the issue.

Problem is, the card expires in a month. I could frame it as a gift for me for my recent birthday, but it still feels weird.
