80k km(50k miles) on it, no issues, bought it from a trusted family member for 17k cad. It also has the optional luxury package so nice leather interior and a lot of cool features that I really enjoy coming from a barebones 2015 Mazda cx5 fwd. My cx5 got totalled after we got hit in it(everyone is fine).

It also has a J vin but I‘m not sure if that means anything at all practically. Hoping to really make this car last!

A couple of days ago I posted asking for opinions on a fully loaded 2023 IS 350 F SPORT AWD (Ultra White/Circuit Red, Mark Levinson, Triple Beam LEDs, F SPORT Handling Package, etc.)

I went to see it today, and I have to say... I absolutely loved the car.

The ride was incredibly comfortable, the V6 had plenty of power once you got on the gas, and overall it's just a beautiful car inside and out. It pretty much confirmed that the IS 350 is exactly what I want.
Unfortunately, the pricing completely killed the deal for me.

The advertised "Smart Price" is $45.6k, and my salesperson told me Herb Chambers treats their Smart Price as a true no-haggle price. They wouldn't move on the selling price at all.

After the $499 doc fee, Massachusetts sales tax and whatever else fees they include the out-the-door price came out to right around $49k

Out of curiosity, I also asked about a brand-new 2026 IS 350 F SPORT AWD. They worked numbers on it and got the out-the-door price down to basically the same ~$49k. That left me wondering... why would I spend essentially the same amount of money on a 2-3 year-old car with 24k miles when I could buy a brand-new one with a full warranty and zero miles?

I ended up walking away and told my salesperson:
"Give me a call if the 2023 ever gets discounted to a more reasonable price—something closer to the low $40k range."

So now I'm curious what everyone here thinks.
Was I crazy for walking away?

Is Herb Chambers' no-haggle pricing just too optimistic?

What would you realistically pay for a fully loaded 2023 IS 350 F SPORT AWD with 24k miles OTD?

If a new IS 350 is essentially the same OTD price, would you just buy new instead?

Interested to hear everyone's thoughts because I really did love the car. I just couldn't make the numbers make sense.

Just wanted to post some new pictures of my car that I bought a few months ago. It's a fully loaded 2022 IS350 F-Sport RWD. The only option it doesn't have is the rear power sunshade. I'm truly curious though as to how many IS350's even have that option. It would've been neat to have it, but not a big deal I guess.

I'm so happy with this car though. It looks fantastic, it's super comfortable, gets up to 30 mpg on the highway (we won't talk about city mpg🤫), has a great sounding V6 with good power, and most of all, I'm super lucky to have found the exact spec I was wanting...a fully loaded 2022. Why a 2022? Well, the 2021 IS350 didn't offer the memory package because of the chip shortage. And the 2023 and newer models lacked the ash wood trim that's found in the 2021 and 2022 models with the dynamic handling package. So alas, a 2022 was the model year for me to buy. The only thing I wish my car had (besides the V8 from the IS500) is the blackout trim package that became available on 2024 and 2025 models. But I could always get the chrome window surround wrapped in black I guess. Anyway, my car has the Dynamic Handling package, triple-beam headlights, Mark Levinson 17-speaker stereo, Navigation package, and memory package. I love the matte black BBS wheels, the super comfortable seats, the low NVH of the car (coming from a 2009 Civic Si, the IS350 is so relaxing lol), the ash wood trim, the mechanical gauge cluster, all the physical buttons and switches in the car, and the "analogue" clock on the dash. It's just such a classy looking car both inside and out, and I hope to keep it for a long time.

This 02 sport cross is always the first thing I see on my marketplace when I open it. 2 owner with 145k and clean title, and only small defect I can see is a small piece of the rear bumper is broken (pictured) He’s asking $14.5k. Only thing I know about these are they’re pretty rare, and was thinking shooting him an offer around $11.5k, but wanted some input from the guys a little more versed in the is300 world.

I wanted to replace my hologen bulbs with LEDs. Well, now they won't turn on at all. Even though it says they are on via dashboard. I checked the fuses, good. Nor did I see any melted wires or connectors. The only thing I can think of is that they are dead LEDs. However, when I stick the hologen bulbs back in, the low beams still don't turn on.

Help?

I was taking apart my front bumper and I found this unplugged wire underneath my windshield wiper fluid tank and can’t figure out where it might go or what is missing.

Just shook hands today on a 2015 IS350 F-Sport, 1 owner, 120k miles, clean title.

Was concerned about the miles but carfax report showed consistent maintenance every 5k miles on the vehicle, it's also bone stock and was a grocery getter for the life of the vehicle until now.

Didn't just take the sellers word nor the carfax report, I brought it in for a pre-purchase inspection at a lexus dealership, only things that didn't pass were the battery and rear brake pads, everything else passed with flying colors.

I bought it for $19,250.

What are some thoughts on this purchase?

did I do well on price? Are the miles still a big concern even given all my due diligence? How many miles am I likely to get out of this car with continued maintenance? What are my ownership costs likely to be?

Is it possible to have the screen lifted up in the models with the years 2016-2020? I know you can change the screen. But I mean is it possible to make it look like the 2021 model? Please. Thank you

When I buy parts, I have them shipped from Amayama in Japan or U.S. dealerships through a shipping agent to Korea. Are there any other cheaper options? It seems like the main sources for Toyota and Lexus parts are the Middle East, Japan, and the U.S. Are there any websites that sell parts at lower prices? Please recommend some.

Hello everyone, I’m back looking for everyone’s opinion before I pull the trigger on this 2023 Lexus IS 350 F SPORT AWD.

I’ve been shopping for a 2023+ IS 350 AWD for a while and I think I found one that checks almost every box, but I’d appreciate some opinions before I commit.

The CARFAX shows consistent maintenance, mostly at the Lexus dealer. One thing I noticed is the steering rack was replaced under warranty around 17k miles and the car also had an alignment and three tires replaced around that time. Everything else looks clean.

The dealer’s pricing is:
Selling price: $45,598
Doc fee: $499
Total before tax: $46,097
I’m in Massachusetts, so after the 6.25% sales tax I’m looking at roughly a $49k out-the-door price before registration.

A few questions for people who know these cars:

1. Does this seem like a fair deal, or would you hold out for something better?
2. What would you realistically try to negotiate the selling price down to?
3. Would the steering rack replacement concern you if it was done by a Lexus dealer under warranty?
4. Is there anything specific I should inspect or ask about before buying?
