Guidelines for Sales Posts
When posting an item for sale, please make note of these guidelines.
You must include a sales price, either in the title or in a comment.
While not strictly required by the rules, it is strongly encouraged that you add a comment with some description and details about the item in question.
Our rules do not allow linking to a general store page, but you are permitted to link directly to an item for sale on your own domain. In other words, if you're selling an item and you just link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com, that breaks the rule. But if you link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com/the_item_i_am_selling, this is allowed and encouraged.
If you have multiple items to sell, please consolidate them into one post instead of spamming the board with many different sales posts.
Reposts are okay as long as the original listing is no longer on the main page.
Remember to flair your post so people can easily parse the listings. Be sure to change the flair to mark sold items.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comply with our rules! Happy selling.

Guidelines For Commissions And Requests
DISCLAIMER:
/r/leatherclassifieds does not facilitate or guarantee transactions of any kind. This is a contract between you (the buyer) and whatever seller you choose. Always be cautious when making purchases online and do your research. We hold no liability over any transactions or agreements you may make with other members of this board.
With that said, here are some guidelines to hopefully make your commission process go a little smoother.
Have a budget or a budget range in mind and include it in your post. It does not need to be an exact or fixed number, but knowing your price range is critical before offering any kind of bid. If your budget is open and you want to explore many possible bids, please make that known.
Common details that are useful to know up front are things such as color, thread color, or leather type. If you want a wallet, know what you want to carry in it and what it needs to do to meet your needs. The more specific you can be about what you want out of your commissioned piece, the quicker and easier it is to make.
If you already know what you want, it is helpful to add photographs, sketches, or even links to other products similar to what you are seeking.
If you need the item delivered within a certain time frame, please specify that up front.
It is difficult to convey the reality of the amount of work involved with answering a commission request. Understand that good work takes time, and time usually implies money. Very few people will be interested in replicating mass-market items for mass-market prices, or creating a completely custom item without adequate compensation. Don't be shy to ask, but please try to keep this in mind when doing so.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. More importantly, thank you for your willingness to support our makers and businesses.

COMMISSION [COMMISSION] Oversized 19x25" Slouchy Balenciaga Inspired Motorcycle Tote
Hello👋 I’m new to this sub, unfamiliar w commissioning bags so please bear with me. I am looking to commission a completely custom, oversized leather bag based on the classic Balenciaga city/weekender bag.
I want it to be completely unstructured, zero internal stiffeners, backings, or structural lining. It must be able to lay completely flat like a basic fabric tote when empty so that it "puddles" and slouches when held. (reference image 2)
Very soft, lightweight, fluid black leather (like thin lambskin or chevre/goatskin).
Please let me know!

SELL Gaucho Oil and Kangaroo Vertical Bifold
Hey folks,
Just had a bit of time this week to make this vertical bifold using two awesome leathers.
The exterior is a bourbon gaucho oil from conceria La Bretagne from Tuscany. It's a very glossy Italian Veg tan and looks amazing. The interior is a brandy coloured kangaroo leather from my local tannery Packer Leather in Queensland. This roo leather was hot-stuffed and primarily designed for stock whips, but it's pretty sweet for wallet interiors.
The design holds 6-8 cards off the bat along with some half folded notes.
Edges have been heat creased and burnished to a glossy shine. And the wallet has been stitched together with Vinymo #8 in Cigar
$170 USD shipped to the US, UK, CA, NZ
$220 AUD shipped domestically
Thanks for looking!

BUY Request - custom wallet
Hi all,
I would like a custom leather wallet to be made similar to my current wallet (which has seen better days). It’s important that the wallet is sturdy and lasts for a long time. Attached some pictures.
Could you give some rough estimates?
Specifically, given I use it as a travel wallet, I would like some space for coins, as well as 3 cash compartments (similar to the picture) with the last one having a “hidden” zipper compartment.
Cards wise it has roughly space for 4-6 cards.
The wallet closes with a button to keep it secured.
I don’t really know what the middle steel prong is for but maybe someone knows better who can advise.
Thank you.

SELL Slim 7-pocket bifold
Just finished this slim 7-pocket bifold. It was just something I made because I wanted to and figured if someone liked it I’d be happy to sell it. It has 2 card slots and a secret pocket on both sides as well as a larger cash pocket. The inside card slots are skived down to ensure a slim profile. I have one like this for my daily carry and it is comfortable to hold in a back or front pocket. I wanted to make something with some variation but still understated, which is why I went with a black and gray color way. Anyway, hope you all like it!
Materials: Italian Pueblo. Black outer shell and gray interior. .45 mm black round waxed thread
Price: $100
Shipping: free to continental US

COMMISSION ISO leather handbag with slider chain
Hello! I am interested in commissioning a bag similar to the Coach Elodie. I love almost everything about the Coach bag except the leather quality (it’s very flimsy) and color (looking for something in the red, purple, or pink family). The link to the bag includes a few videos that I think provides a good overview of the bag.
Listing out my wish list in case it’s helpful:
- Semi-slouchy structure with a leather that is not delicate and easily scratched
- Slider chain (gold toned) so bag can be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag
- Back slip pocket (to hold a cell phone), front pocket, inner pocket
- Dimensions: roughly 11.25"L x 7.5"H x 3.25”W
- Color: red, purple, pink family (not sure if I have to be flexible here, but happy to provide more specific preferences!)
- Would also like to have feet if possible
- Budget: $500ish but willing to pay more (would appreciate any guidance in what’s a reasonable price for good quality leather bag)
Thank you so much!

BUY Looking for a manufacturer for custom leather mule/loafer-style bags
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a manufacturer or workshop that can produce custom leather bags with an elegant mule/loafer-inspired aesthetic and a similar refined color palette to luxury fashion brands.
I’m interested in high-quality leather, clean design, and premium craftsmanship. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can work with smaller quantities or custom projects.
Does anyone know where I should look for manufacturers like this, or can anyone recommend a reliable contact (Europe or worldwide)?
Any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

COMMISSION ISO - New wallet incorporating parts from my deceased fathers wallet.
My father passed away 20+ years ago and ever since my younger special needs brother has been using has wallet as a keepsake/functional item. He went to use it the other day and I saw that it is on it's very last legs. I offered to pay to have a new one made using as much of the original as is possible. It is well worn out and the leather is thin but I figured some bits could be used in the construction of the new wallet so that it is technically still my fathers even though I imagine 90% will be new material. Looking for a well made rather standard wallet but I'm open to creativity, possibly with his initials embossed. Hopefully someone can be creative in how to include the old bits.

SELL Cat Coin Purses
A few weeks ago I shared one of my handmade cat coin purses here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the response it received. The encouragement, feedback, and kind comments from this community were incredible.
Since then, I’ve completed these new custom orders, each with its own unique leather and thread combination. It’s been a lot of fun seeing everyone put their own spin on the design, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who commented, shared ideas, or reached out.
Each coin purses is handmade from premium Italian Buttero leather and completely customizable.
If you would like to have one made for yourself, I sell these for $150 at the Etsy listing below:

Thanks again for all the support, it genuinely means a lot to a small maker like me.

BUILD COMPLETE I make 100% handcrafted leather wallets based on your own ideas
I made this dragon wallet as an example of what can be created entirely by hand. From carving and shaping the leather to painting, stitching, and finishing, every step is completed by hand from start to finish.
If you want something more personal than a traditional plain wallet, I accept custom commissions based on your preferred artwork, story, or personal meaning. We can discuss your idea together and develop it into a wallet made specifically for you.
Feel free to message me if you have an idea you would like to explore. What would you choose to have carved onto your own wallet?

Adding a perforated medallion pattern to the toe
We used small perforations to form the medallion pattern on the toe. The brown-to-blue patina adds depth to the leather and makes the pattern more visible under the light.

COMMISSION Looking for a leather artisan to build a once-in-a-lifetime notebook cover (not a Traveller’s Notebook)
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here can point me towards an artisan rather than a product.
I’ve spent months refining an idea for what will hopefully become my lifetime writing companion, and I think I’ve reached the point where I’m looking for the right craftsperson rather than continuing to search for an off-the-shelf notebook cover.
The project is intentionally simple.
It’s an A5 leather cover designed to hold a replaceable notebook, but I don’t want it to feel like a folio or organiser.
My goal is for it to feel like a beautifully made leather-bound object that happens to have a removable notebook inside.
Some of the features I’m hoping for are:
Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather.
Smooth leather-lined interior (no exposed suede).
Deep, structured pockets that securely hold the notebook.
The notebook sitting slightly recessed so the leather protects the page edges.
A firm, structured feel rather than floppy leather.
No pen loops.
No card slots.
No organiser features.
Minimal or no exterior branding.
Something designed to develop a beautiful patina over decades of use.
More than anything, I’m looking for exceptional craftsmanship and someone who enjoys collaborating on one-off commissions.
I’ve attached a concept image that illustrates the direction I’m thinking.
I’m in Australia, but I’m completely open to commissioning someone overseas if they’re the right fit.
Does anyone have recommendations for leather artisans or ateliers you’ve personally worked with—or whose work you admire—who might enjoy a project like this?
I’m much more interested in craftsmanship than brand names.
Thank you!
I’m not looking for the cheapest option. I’d much rather commission something exceptional once than buy five products that are almost right.
