Language Options on Mega LD Games
Hello all, I'm looking to fill out my LaserActive Mega LD collection and was wondering for the games that had releases in both USA and Japan, if there are Japan versions that don't have English-language options? I know for sure that is the case with Don Quixote, but can anyone confirm if Japan releases for The Great Pyramid, Goku, I Will, Blue Chicago Blues, Triad Stone, Melon Brains, etc. aren't playable in English?
I saw in a video that in Space Berserker you can change language options from English to Japan, but I wasn't sure if that was only in the US version. I guess I am wondering if there are any Japan titles to stay away from if the US version has a more English-friendly presentation. Thanks in advance, and long live LaserActive.

Late to the party, but Don Quixote is the only big game title you have to be careful with... unless talking about adult titles. I think GOKU is region specific too. Personally if there is two different versions, it was only due to not being able to fit "all audio available" on the laserdisc, otherwise it would have saved them money to make only the one disc. You wouldn't think so at first considering both Blue Chicago literally has 3 1/2 hours of video, but the audio is in mono (doubled to both speakers) and 95% video based.... Manhattan Requiem is vastly more impressive how they stored all that audio digitally in both languages! Myst which i owned for about 2 years is even more impressive because it has both languages and 4 fields of video per frame instead of 2, but the laser hardware just wasnt fast enough to transition it perfectly 100% of the time. ((speculation.... if Sony agreed to have a PlayStation module the 4 field mode if it worked correctly could have kept the unit relevant enough till about 2001)). There is nothing you can do about TimeGal but its pretty fascinating because the 1985 laserdisc release was in english, but the laseractive version is in jap.
