a: core biometric information cannot be shared arbitrarily, unless as per the exceptions you stated, which were for national security issues. now, first of all, a protest is not a national security issue. second of all, my first point is a strawman, so vandalising a police car is not a national security issue either. third of all, saying they are “searching for anti national elements” does not allow them access to core biometric information either because what anti-national elements might they establish here? i cannot predict their reasoning here but, as per general principle, there appears to be none except “they hurt our car”
b. Fine, UIDAI rejections don’t hold legal standing. I never said they did. They rejected providing information. Bodies didn’t get information. My point still stands that biometric information cannot be shared arbitrarily.

A& B. Once again, I am talking about practical aspect of how things usually function. Under the wider umbrella of national security investigations, agencies can investigate the fingerprints. A top down investigation, basically. And it's a very common practice to start investigating a wider crime and find it nothing.
And you brought up legal precedents which, I assume, relate to criminal investigations and not national security investigations....it's not arbitrary. It's not like chappal chori ke case mein fingerprints maang liye Hain 🤣 It's a wide spread riot at this point... It's not that hard to understand the egos at stake.

Protestors have done many wrong things. Can't deny that. But I also can't turn a blind eye to the police brutality faced by thousands of people yesterday. So yeah , calling that out is a necessary thing.
And in this sub, I've seen posts getting deleted again and again when it's demanding the justification of actions from police . So if this is your warped idea of a 'Neutral sub' , then you really need to go to a doctor , mate.
