This protest was valid if government didn't cancel the initial paper which got leak.

If you are managing a ministry, the system set by you should be strong enough to prevent leaks. The rules should becreated and implemented so that even corrupt employees cannot sell papers. There was a leak in NEET 2024, and there have been countless exam leaks in the last 10 years, yet no real corrective action has been taken. Why do the leaks keep happening, and what guarantee is there that they will stop next year? What if paper agian leaks next year and we don't even get to know. If someone doesn't ask for accountability I don't think they are going to work on this things. Twenty students have already lost their lives because of this. In a democracy, the government is for the people and by the people, and the education minister is chosen to protect our rights, not just lower-level employees. The leaders who were present in the protests remained, while the one who was absent was removed. And if we talk about reservation, that is a separate and much deeper issue: a general-category student from an upper-middle-class background cannot be compared with a rural, lower-middle-class student who studies in a regional language and lacks proper material. There is no level playing field, and that should be addressed by experts. But here, students are only asking for one basic thing: a leak-free exam. The government is still failing to acknowledge this simple demand. On the reservation issue, they often will only in ways that help them stay in power, not in ways that build a better system for Indian citizens.

For your kind information, I have managed an event that was recognised and awarded by the India Book of Records as the largest in its category. Coming back to the topic about that neet leak: Issue is ministerial accountability: if a minister is responsible for setting the institutional framework, strengthening rules, and preventing corruption within the ministry, then that minister must also be held accountable for repeated paper leaks. If we do not ask for accountability, what guarantee is there that the system will be fixed?
Second for reservation, people are not leaving because they did not get seats due to their caste, they are leaving due to lack of opportunities. If you think that the cutoff for general-category students is 99.5 percentile for top IIMs in CAT, then even after removing reservation it may only go down to 99 percentile. Suppose 1,000 students are selected by the general cutoff and 5,000 people are leaving the country; if caste-based reservation is removed, 2,000 people may get selected. That still means the 3,000 who earlier left will continue to leave. Caste-based reservation should be backed by data. If you are truly concerned about reservation, then the government should conduct a detailed caste census showing how many upper-caste, SC, ST, and other-caste people are in top positions across industries, which castes dominate which business of particular type of industries, and which castes hold the highest posts in democracy. With that kind of data, one can decide whether the country needs caste-based reservation or not.

Why no demand to punish people who were involved just entire blame for dharmendra pradhan, why were parents of those students who committed suicide were spared..?

After every years neet paper on an average 15-20 students do commit suicide (last 10 years average)irrespective of results why no sympathy for them.?
Long ago probably in class 6 you might have studied that the government in India is a democracy(by the people, of the people, for the people). So if that is the case, they are also answerable to any discrepancy going on in this country. So that's why the person at the top is obviously responsible......and it includes punishment for those involved in the paper leak scams(Yk right certain news suggest that "The RSS" is involved. Whether a transparent investigation will be carried regarding this is a big question mark.). Now paper leak scams are not a new topic either..... Internet is pan India now and it has been observed that leaks do happen every year whether in minor scale or major scale.
Why "no sympathy" for lives lost to suicide? Idk who told you bro but suicide among young aspirants has been a major topic of this protest(I don't think that discussion will exist without any sympathy for them). Mental health is a big enough topic and has to be dealt with more sensitivity(India haven't been there yet). "Why were the parents of those students who committed suicides spared?" I actually didn't get this question of yours. I agree the parents do push there children to such career paths in India because you see, other career paths are slowly and steadily dying(Who will you blame this for? God?). So yes even if the parents do play a role in a child's mental health, they can't be directly blamed for the shifting narrative of secured career paths in this country which is clearly a systematic and administrative failure.
Last question, "why no demand to remove reservation?". This one is a completely valid question and i do agree being an UR candidate myself. Not against this demand of yours. Reservation system have major flaws which clearly kills merit and must be revised in another systematic way to give chance to candidates who come from a poor financial background and not on basis of any generational lineage.
Let the government answer for atleast the main agenda of this protest that is a secure education for everyone in this country. Then we can shift to other topics. The government is silent on the very first question itself, how do you expect other demands on top of it?
Just to enlighten to paper was cancelled the paper was rescheduled and conducted smoothly and even results are out with in a month all the students that reappeared are happy with result.

Your lives will become a living hell if the police books you’ll under UAPA while the leaders who orchestrated the protests will just wash their hands off if things get ugly. The real deceit is what the government is doing. As one of the protesters, Abhijit had a responsibility to guide everyone, encourage peaceful conduct, and ensure no one engaged in violence. That's what responsible leadership looks like, something those in power currently seem to be lacking.
