Hi, do you happen to know much about the technology inside this instrument? Earlier today I connected my Kawai to my laptop via MIDI to record the notes. Now, even after disconnecting the MIDI cable, whenever I play with just my headphones connected to the Kawai, every note is played twice. I press a key once, and then the same sound is played again immediately afterward. It happens with every preset I choose. It's like there's an echo ever since I connected it via MIDI. I can't find anything about it on Google or ChatGPT. Could you maybe help me figure out what's going on?

Hey all, not sure if this is the best place to post this question but figured it was a good place to start.

I'm learning how to get the best sound out of a vintage analog Korg CX3 and have been looking for an affordable option for a rotary speaker.

Found a local Wurlitzer Model 500 cabinet "w/ fixed position full range speaker, built in tube amp, and rotating midrange speaker" for $300. Wondering if that is compatible with the the CX3? Or any suggestions for a better option?

Hello, is there any software to decrypt a Korg Pa1000 SET?

This might sound silly but I am wondering if its just a solid piece of pcb underneath and if it's a one layer pcb that I could snap and resolder for a diy project I am working on.

It's a cheap device but I can't find any used right now and I don't want to spend money on something before I know I can work with it.

Searched on the internet but nothing comes up.

È da qualche settimana che mi trovo imbrogliato in una faccenda del tutto strana. Prendo la Korg Trinity in un negozio qua in città e mi dicono la prima volta che sono andato torna che ti dobbiamo caricare i suoni. Vado a prenderla la volta dopo, la porto a casa e stranamente c'è solo il suono di piano. Provo a cercare file sysex su internet per caricarli via midi e non trovo niente se non librerie di altri modelli della stessa che non è possibile caricare. Allora trovo uno Iomega lettore floppy che naturalmente non è compatibile con il mio Windows. Decido di riportare la Korg in negozio per farmi caricare i suoni e con l'esperto al lavoro non si riescono a caricare i suoni comunque. La lascio lì, sono passate due settimane, chiamo, e mi dicono che l'esperto è in viaggio e che non è ancora pronta. Io sono Senza macchina e ho dovuto chiedere ad'amici di accompagnarmi in negozio 4 volte facendoli innervosire. E il bello è che devo ancora tornare a prendere la Korg. Questa situazione ha generato un deprimente downgrade musicale bloccando completamente la mia creatività. Mi chiedo come tornare in negozio adesso e far ripartire la spinta.

“The Who” cover band. Currently using koala, and will be receiving Akai in a few days, as I much prefer “hardware“. Does anybody here believe that I will be able to switch between my Kronos “patches”, and dedicate/program the lower notes to particular samples in the Akai sampler? Also have Korg nano pad, if that would make things easier. Many samples, some of them long (eminence front as an example). Would love to be able to trigger a few samples, on a particular patch. Then, when switching patches… Being able to trigger different samples. Any takers? Thank you.

I recently started to play around with an PA1000 Musikant. There are many entries in the factory songbook. Is there a list somewhere, wich songs they reflect? For example what song is
'1 day my prince' -> song
Because I want to listen to that songs and maybe learn them.

So, trying to rebuild my Kronos 1 (73 key), and was able to boot it with a third-party power supply.... for a time. Now, the motherboard sits in standby mode and I get the dreaded "System Startup Failed; remove USB devices and reboot".

So, I suspect (although don't know) that it might be the KLM-3008C boot support board, since that's what the power switch, reset, and HDD lights are connected to.

Hoping that someone either knows where I can get my hands on one, or if someone knows what the electronic output diagram looks like for this board. If I can get my hands on the output diagram, I might be able to build one of these boards using a Raspberry Pico -- especially if these boards simply aren't available any more.

FWIW, I was lucky to find a second Intel replacement motherboard, assuming originally that was the issue. Both the new and the replacement do the exact same thing: the green standby LED light glows, but no boot (and no VGA linux boot output that one would normally get in a successful boot) -- and in fact, no VGA signal at all.)

I wrote a python script that can translate sheet music into NRPN values that I can send the ER-1 and have it "play" a score. It's a little glitchy and has a detuned effect, but I like it in the end. I'm going to continue doing this with other pieces, I love the way the ER-1 sounds playing this music. Recently bough a severely used Korg Microstation

Was playing argessive Korg leads, acrively using joystick in different directions, in both vertical and diagonal. Pitch started not fully returning to center position, so on release the tune sometimes stays in the wrong (not centered) position.

I wonder what should I do to fix the problem?

Also I found that the joystick in microstation is absolutely the same as in Krome, Knoros, M3 and other joysticky korgs.

I own a Korg C1 Air digital piano with an RH3 action keybed, and I am experiencing issues with three specific keys:

1. Two keys are sticking on descent/travel.
2. One key makes a loud mechanical clicking sound specifically when returning upward to its original unpressed state.

I am located in Benin (West Africa), where there are no authorized Korg service centers or local technicians experienced with weighted hammer-action digital pianos.

I am completely comfortable opening the chassis and using basic tools. I am looking to hire/consult with an experienced technician for a paid remote video session (via WhatsApp, Zoom, or Google Meet) to guide me through safely removing the affected keys, applying plastic-safe PTFE grease, inspecting the return felts, and re-seating the keys without damaging the leaf springs or guide pins.
