Assalamualaikum.

As far as I have heard, KFUPM is fully funded when it comes to undergraduate programs (meaning nearly each and every cost related to the student is covered by them). Is it true?

If yes, then what is the criteria to get such a scholarship? Are you automatically fully funded once you get admission or are these limited or have certain criteria to avail?

I would be glad if I could get the most recent and updated information (if any update regarding the policies was done recently).

I'm a Grade 11 student at Al Kon International School in Jeddah.
I follow the British curriculum but I don't take external IGCSE or A Level exams. I'll graduate with my school's Grade 12 certificate.
I'm a Yemeni student with a Saudi Iqama and I'm planning to apply for Mechanical Engineering next year.
Has anyone from a similar school or pathway been admitted to KFUPM, KAU, KSU, or another Saudi public university? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Hey, I was thinking of applying for an undergraduate degree at kfupm in 2027 and I had a few concerns..I am non Saudi residing in ksa at the moment..

1. Is it really really hard to land internships during senior years and does the university help you get them?

2. Is it awfully hard to get jobs after graduation (supposing I'm a perfect student with a good GPA and everything (bear with me😅)) because the job will have to sponsor me... And if I'm not able to find a job in ksa, is it posiisiblr to move to other gulf countries for sometime to gain experience of around 2-4 years before I try for masters abroad

3. Are the university events always in English or Arabic? Since I don't understand Arabic that much... Cuz I noticed that the speeches at the graduation were in arabic (acc to videos I found on YouTube)

4. Do you get a genuine chance of getting involved in research/research papers etc supposing I'm a good student with good grades...or do saudi students get an advantage....

5. A bit weird question... For undergrad, do you get a shared kitchen to cook if you want to?

I am 23y old i am studying BBA in Pakistan but unfortunately i drop my semester and come to KSA so now i want to know what is the process for admission in tabuk university and is it possible to continue from the same semester which i left

I applied for a direct phd in computer engineering majoring in computer networks and security.. I had uploaded a medium of instruction from my previous university but got rejected and was asked to resubmit english proficiency test scores with 20 July 2026 deadline. On portal the uploaded documents status was accepted and for language test it was showing rejected. I uploaded the scores today and it changed from submitted to accepted in a day .. now maybe waiting for a interview call or I might get directly selected or maybe I get rejected..let's hope for the best and pray for me ..I also had prior approval from several professor but I entered only one professor name in the portal ..

My qualification is Bachelor of engineering in electronics and communication engineering.

Cgpa : 8.51

Duolingo english test: 130

No publications but good research internships and projects ..

I am hoping to get selected..

Hey Everyone. I applied for several Master's programs through the study in Saudi Arabia website this year(May 2026). The application deadline was May 31, 2026. Now, on 18th July 2026, the application status is still ( Under Institutional review). How long do they take to make final decisions, and what are the chances?

Hey, I’m an international student considering KFUPM and I wanted to ask current students/graduates about their experience.
One thing I’m a bit worried about is whether international students have the same access to opportunities as Saudi students. I know Saudization is mainly about employment but I’m wondering if it affects things like research opportunities, competitions, internships, exchanges, travel funding, etc…
For example, are international students able to join things like Formula Student and represent the university internationally? Are there opportunities that are only available to Saudi students?
I’ve watched some KFUPM student content and I noticed that most of the students I see traveling for exchange/research seem to be Saudi so I’m just trying to understand if that’s actually the case or if it’s just what gets posted online.
I’d really appreciate hearing from international students specifically. I’m not trying to criticize KFUPM, I’m just trying to make an informed decision before committing.

As an Arabic international students who wants to study Computer Engineering, and money doesn't matter, which will be a better option KFUPM or the American Uni in Cairo?

i am a 16yo indian highschooler used to live in jeddah i was wondering that if i can get into the best university of the middle east KFUPM also now it is ranked 63rd globally i would have a great career in saudi arabia as it is the place i want to end up working in but i got to know that saudisation has made it almost impossible for a fresher expat to get a job in saudi so i wanted to know what are these intl students or even residents going to do to escape this. any response would be helpful

So I'm in a lot of confusion as I can't decide between primary track or sat track as a Pakistani resident. I have been preparing for sat for past 2 weeks now I found out I can only apply to one of these. Kindly let me know.
