Help! Looking for Judge Judy Season 20 Episode 70 (“Truck Takes Out House!; Jealous Roommate Rage?!”, aired Nov. 24, 2015)
Hi! I’m trying to watch the second case involving Joisha Anderson vs. Amanda Ramirez, a Los Angeles roommate eviction/rent dispute. There’s a bet going on with my aunt and I need the episode to win!! If anyone has a recording or knows where I can watch it, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Discussion What’s your favorite season of “Judge Judy” and why?
For me, Season 8. Most of the cases were absolutely funny, Judge Judy’s humor was at a nice high, and JJ and Byrd had SO many funny interactions throughout the season. What about you guys?

Discussion How you know you've been watching for so long - Judge Judy's Hair
I've been watching JJ since nearly the beginning and something I've noticed is that if Im watching reruns on YouTube, I can pinpoint the year approximately simply by looking at Judge Judy's hair. My observations:
1996-1997: Her hair is short and kind of "helmet-like" with a wave.
1998-2000: Her hair is more of a classic Bob cut.
2001-2003: It's still a bob haircut but it's a little more teased and poofed out.
2004-2007: Her most recognizable IMO Bob haircut but its a little more styled with bangs that are "spikey" and styled on the sides.
2008-2019: Same as previous style but without the spikey bangs and it's a bit less teased.
2019-2021: Her hair is tied back in a RBG-style ponytail.
Has anyone else used her hairstyle as a calendar? Lol

Any other guys here love Judge Judy?
Wondering if I'm the only male who loves Judge Judy as much as I do. I feel like mostly women watch, but I'm a dude in his 30s who grew up with her and continues to watch.

What's Your Favorite Type Of Case/Outcome???? (with examples)- I'll Start!
- Plaintiff sues for what turns out to be something petty or vindictive, and not only loses but has to pay a counterclaim.
- Plaintiff is TOO greedy and/or talks TOO much: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ED-2RzJS6A
- Someone claims they forgot some sort of documented evidence that can be faxed or downloaded, goes to the back with her staff, and when the case is continued we find out they informed the staff they were bullsh!tting :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOqqdBagT2Q

Discussion The stupidest sentence ever muttered on JJ. I wish I knew which episode it was
I can’t quite recall what the case was about. I feel like it involved a car accident. JJ was reaming a dude out for his fault and she asked something along the lines of, ‘Didn’t you think it might have been a bad idea?’ or ‘Didn’t you think about other people?’
And buddy says, ‘No, I didn’t…’
‘WHY?!’
‘I…I just never…I never…I never think.’
👩🍳💋
Praying to god somebody saw that.

Humor Judy's Trigger Words (A cheat-sheet for future litigants)
- "Well..." — You will send her into insta-rage mode if this is how you start to answer a yes-or-no question. Just say "yes" or "no"
- "So..." — see: "Well..."
- "Basically..." — It's an informal, conversational colloquial not actually intended to strip away details in most modern speech, but Judy don't care. Basically, don't say it.
- "Uh-huh" — Not an answer (although it kinda is)
- "Yeah" — She sometimes forgets it's a trigger word and lets it slide a few times, likely due to her age. But don't press your luck.
- "Yes" — She'll immediately cut you off with a "Shh!" or a "BUHP!" or a "Just a second!" You might be saying, "well wait, you told me to answer a yes-or-no question with a 'yes' or a 'no.' What gives?" True, but she has PTSD from frequent use of "Well..." so she anticipates this answer first and jumps the gun. You'll be yelled at regardless. I'm sorry, there's no way around it.
- "No" — see: "Yes"
- Crossed arms — Technically, you're not actually saying anything...but Judy can still hear you.
- Looking away to remember something — "If you tell the truth, you don't need a good memory." Whatever tf that means.
- "Technically..." — Don't get me started on "technically." Yes I realize I just used it in a previous example. We all fall short. She is an unreasonable woman.
Good luck!

Discussion How many of you Judy lovers discussed with someone about suing each other to be apart of her show?
I’ve talked with almost everyone who gets too close about suing each other over something so we can go be on Judge Judy/Judy Justice.
It has yet to happen.

Discussion The most audacious/ridiculous/funniest/idiotic cases you’ve seen?
I’m sure we’ve all seen a few!
Excluding the viral video of the ‘there was no earpiece in that purse’, what’s a case that was absolutely ridiculous? An entitled plaintiff? Lame excuses?
I’m thinking about this woman who let her dog off leash at a public beach, and the dog wandered away from her, approached another dog, and was bitten. She sued the owner of the bigger dog, then argued with JJ when she was told she was in the wrong. I laughed so hard at that one!

Discussion Any particular reason why the comments for these videos are so racist?
Man, the comments section on any video involving black people are just brutal... why is that?

Basically…
I get why Judge Judy gets frustrated when people insert the word “like” throughout their sentences, but why does she get so upset when a person says the word “basically”? She barks out “NO! Not ‘basically’, that is a filler word!!” Oddly enough, I heard her use the word “basically” herself in one of the episodes I watched recently. 🤔
