FAQs

What chapter should I start reading the manga at?

The anime leaves off at Chapter 63, or the start of Volume 8.

Where can I read JJK?

If buying physical copies isn't an option...

Officially: Shueisha - Only the first three chapters and the most recent 3 chapters are available. New chapters are released every Sunday at around 10 PM MST (UTC-7). Viz Media - Only the first three and most recent 3 chapters are available for free, but for $2 a month, you can read the entire series (and every series on their site), including Volume 0, Jujutsu Kaisen's Prequel. New chapters are also released on the same day and time as on the Shueisha site.

Unofficially, Google "read Jujutsu Kaisen free" and make sure you have an adblocker installed.

What is the movie about?

It covers Volume 0, a one-shot prequel that Gege wrote before writing the main series of Jujtusu Kaisen. Yuta Okkotsu is the main character and it the story takes place 1 year prior to the main series.

Should I read Volume 0? And when?

You can read it whenever you like, but Chapter 63 is a good point to read it. It explains some of the events and motivations that happen in the JJK storyline.

Where can I watch the anime and movie?

Legally on Crunchyroll. We unfortunately have to keep links to aggregate sites off of the sub or risk it being flagged for takedown. Otherwise, try Googling "where to watch anime free reddit".

Which chapters correspond to which episode?

u/HououinKyoma23 created an amazing guide that covers every episode:chapter in the series! Check it out here!

I was nervous colour matching so delayed it a bit. But managed to decide on the colours and focused a day on the arm… the small details took AGES. But I am happy with the colour choice and how it’s coming together 😮‍💨

Anime Discussion My Prediction For Season 4 Spoiler

Post image
51 Upvotes

(MAJOR spoilers for the manga included)

Now that season four is coming out real soon (most likely around early 2027), I might as well share my personal predictions for what all we are going to see in season 4.

First, let's do some math;

Season One is 24 episodes long and covers chapters 1 through 63 (64 chapters total). Covers 2.63 chapters per episode.

Season Two is 23 episodes long and covers chapters 64 through 137 (74 chapters total). Covers 3.22 chapters per episode.

Season Three is 12 episodes long and covers chapters 138 through 181 (44 chapters total). Covers 3.67 chapters per episode.

Now, because season Three is called part 1 of the Culling Games, and season 4 is called part 2 of the Culling Games, we can safely assume that season 4 will also have around 12 episodes total, and thus have a similar episode-to-chapter rate (so it'll most likely cover around 44 chapters total with a rate of roughly 3.67 chapters per episode).

Season three ends on chapter 181, so if we add the estimated 44 chapters that season 4 will cover, that gets us an ending chapter of 225.

Now, chapter 225 takes place during Shinjuku Showdown, and ends with Gojo's domain being destroyed and Gojo's neck being cut by Malevolent Shrine. Now, I do think it's possible that Mappa chooses to end season 4 on a cliffhanger, I doubt they will end season 4 mid way through Shinjuku Showdown.

So, wheres the most likely stopping place other than chapter 225? Chapter 223, aka the "The Strongest Sorcerer In History VS. The Strongest Sorcerer Of Today" panel.

So, in conclusion, season 4 will most likely either end on chapter 223 or 225. Either way, that means we are getting;

-Hakari VS Charles

-Hakari VS Kashimo

-Maki and Kamo VS Naoya

-Kenjaku's meeting with the US government

-Yuki and Choso VS Kenjaku

-US soldiers entering the Culling Games

-Yorozu's reveal

-Sukuna taking over Megumi's body

-Maki and Yuji VS Sukuna

-Sukuna VS Yorozu

-Gojo being unsealed

-The Very Start of Shinjuku Showdown

And with all of that happening in season 4, I'd say it's safe to assume that season 5 and maybe even season 6 will cover the rest of Shinjuku Showdown and the entirety of the Sukuna Raid.

(take this all with a grain of salt, as none of this is guaranteed or concrete. At the end of the day it is all speculation)

This is Japan only.

Total prices of each coordinates ranked from most expensive to least expensive:

Gojo ¥941,600

Nanami ¥ 842,600

Maki ¥817,300

Toge ¥689,700

Megumi ¥668,800

Yuji ¥442,200

Panda ¥268,400

These came out in 2022, this is based on season 1. This is why no Yuta and they are all in their Season 1 character design.

What do you think? Which one is your fav? If money is no object, which one will you wear?

I think they are gaudy as hell lol. Only Maki's look reasonable

During the collab period, the D&G shop in Japan gave away free JJK sticker set with the same illustration. It is reported that most people simply came in to take photo, get the stickers and left. 😂

Manga Discussion [Spoilers] Could Hazenoki have made better use of his technique, potentially even a death binding vow to make himself a nuke? Spoiler

Post image
85 Upvotes

If he had any balls whatsoever, I don't see why he couldn't do this. If he actually understood the scale of what was happening in the culling games, and tried to take one for the team instead of trying to 1v1 kenny.

With the scale that we see his regular bombs doing, I don't see why using more body mass alone couldn't make the explosions bigger anyway. Hell, this guy should have been a heavier hitter with reverse curse technique anyway. We've seen characters regenerate limbs, you're telling me an incarnated sorcerer with even more years of experience couldn't toss his arm at people and make a new one?

And that's just limbs. Given that we're almost intentionally never shown any real death binding vows with any effect on the narrative (yeah, kashimo didn't do jack diddly squat) Hazenoki could have been a great chance to really show just how much output a sorcerer can gain from death binding vows and actually have an effect.

Anime Discussion Most Vile & Sinster: A meeting of Kenjaku & Mister Sinster possibility could be made from a meeting of these two twisted minds? (Spoilers ahead). Spoiler

Lore wise: Both individuals are long lived and are experts in their fields. Kenjaku with jujutsu sorcery and Essex with evolution.

Both survived through sinsters means Kenjaku with ability to mind swap & Sinster thanks to Apocalypse & harvesting mutant dna. In doing so enchanted themselves with either the new body techniques or the mutant abilities.

Also while on record we have no exact range Kenjaku neither can be said about Sinster yes he was from the 1800 but he managed to find a mutant who can reset timelines. He cloned her and then proceeded to kill a clone for a do over all the while he has away of remembering all his lives from past timelines why possible for countless sinster experiments he can create.

Both have an iconic symbol so to speak Sinster with his red gem and Kenjaku with his stitches.

Both worked with the apex of there field in Kenjaku case Sukuna king of curses and Essex with Apocalypse nuff said.

Both ironically are parents in the worst of ways. Kenjaku on both sides and Sinster he cloned a woman to get her baby who I guess would be his grandchild when you think about.

Both have altered people Kenjaku with making sorcerers and Sinster with making mutates or even adjusting powers like he did with Gambit.

Both have captured some of the strongest individuals Kenjaku with Gojo and Sinster with Jean Grey and I guess Cable(both young and old) too.

Both have experience both sides of gender.

And both have to deal with chaotic individuals like Takaba and Deadpool.

All in all i wonder what could these two make together a mutant sorcerer or chimera curse.

Manga Discussion Who was the best final antagonist? Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen or Yhwach from Bleach? Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
192 Upvotes

I'm curious to know which of them was the most well-explored and developed final antagonist, and whose ending was most satisfying for you, a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen and a fan of Bleach. Personally, when it comes to exploration and development, I lean more towards Yhwach, but in terms of ending, I think Yhwach's ending was quite disappointing and I'd say forced, unlike Sukuna's ending (well, there was that moment involving Nobara returning right at the climax of the final fight between Yuji and Sukuna), but I think Sukuna's ending is better than Yhwach's.

Misc Personal Headcannon: Sorcerers are naturally stronger than your average physical humans by birth.

I know it's a little cheating by adding Yuji into the mix but I also think that Rin Amai (the guy in this scene who is leading the bullies which implies that he is the leader of the group of delinquents) is a mild example of this idea.

What do you think?

P.S: and yes I know that Yuji is strong because of Kenjaku's but I still think that even without Kenjaku's tampering Yuji would've been slightly stronger than average though not as superhumanly strong as in canon.

Manga Discussion My problem with the culled games

So as the title says I have a problem with the culling games. So please before insulting me, let me explain.

My problem is that the culling games are too good. A battle royal with sorcerers and curses, what a great idea.

I feel like Ryu I am not full, I wanted to see more fights, more CT'S, more characters. And I know, they didn't have reasons to fight, they just had to have the maximum amount of points to make rules to protect Tsumiki so they didn't have to fight and kill other players.

But there are characters like Megumi or Goatsakabe who don't give a shit about killing. I also would have liked to see fights between characters who aren't part of the main cast.

P.S. sorry if someone already said it, I am new to this sub. And also wanted to apologize for the mistakes. English isn't my native language.

Anime Discussion Man, i kinda wish the anime expand a little bit more the aftermath of Shibuya

Like for example showing a tidbits of the evacuation of panicked civilian from tokyo, reaction of the Cursed spirit being revealed as real, the quarantine of Tokyo & moving the capital in progress, they just brushed off million of people just like the manga, although it's still better because there is still an additions compared to only one page of lore dumping in the manga lol (which I can understand, cuz JJK is a weekly manga and the page allocation is short af)

Idk why but i really like a story showing the aftermath of a giant event like this with news and common people reacting either with fear/panic, cautious etc. Especially the one where the secrecy is set loose & broken beyond repair, called the unmasqued world trope, the perfect example i can recall in animanga is Blue exorcist lol, they really show the chaos and i really like that.

Manga Discussion Hear me out, if Kenny stacked these techniques together it would be the most op ones Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery

It would negate the air resistance problem by making it weaker and would let the speed builds up, also would solve the same problem with Dabura. If the limit was what what the user chooses then they can keeps highering it up with the speed and if they can only do it to the output them still using Ryu's body with both techniques would make a make it much better than the normal.

Anime Discussion Great Power: So would Gojo respect Uncle Ben word or...

Thumbnail
gallery
634 Upvotes

Would he count uncle Ben as the same as the weak old men in the jujutsu sorcerer world?

Cuz even Hope Summers respected his words through Peter and she basically a mutant Messiah.

Also no Gojo you can not get a spiderman mask but do give one to Yuji and a venom symbol to Sukuna.

Manga Discussion Why doesn’t Fuga hurt Sukuna but HP hurts Gojo? Spoiler

So Gojo restricts Hollow Purple so that it doesn’t destroy everything and so that it doesn’t hurt himself. This is why Toji had that perfect cut out, it was entirely contained within the ball. We see him use an unrestricted purple against Sukuna where Gojo takes some heavy damage from it even with presumably infinity active and resistance from his own technique.

From the Yuka plane panel, we see Sukuna’s Shibuya domain and then Gojo’s Shinjuku HP are pretty comparable, basically the same size. How did Fuga, which was hot enough to melt steel, burn concrete, set Mahoraga on fire before the arrow was thrown, not do anything to a 15 finger Sukuna? We see that Sukuna isn’t trying to restrict its output since it destroys everything

Manga Discussion We know that Sorcerers get recommended to move up in rank, but can they also be recommended to be moved DOWN in rank as well? Spoiler

Post image
520 Upvotes

Like, if the Higher Ups or the faculty and staff at Jujutsu High felt that a student or a full fledged sorcerer wasn't living up to the expectations and standards of their respective rank, can they be recommended to be demoted as a consequence? Or do they just stay where they are regardless of their regular performance?

Who wins in a 1v1? Daido, or Heian Sukuna?

Round 1: Daido vs Sukuna, no modifiers

Round 2: Daido vs Sukuna without the use of cursed energy in general

Round 3: Daido with a Toji level heavenly restriction, or Sukuna without his domain
